Use Take Profit (TP) and Stop Loss (SL) to automatically close your trade. You can also use Trailing Stop but the level changes with the market movement.

I don't think they are included in the standard package. You need to install custom indicators for that. I could be wrong though

I only use Fibonacci as a rough guide or confirmation to the market movement (retraction, etc) but only for longer TF (H4,D1,W1). What is the current strategy that you are using?

My general use of Fibonacci is not to determine entry level but as a SR guide for either continuation or retraction. My experience of using Fibonacci levels as entry points was quite bad but for take profit level is better. You should play around with your setup more in demo accounts to refine your strategy. And remember, trading setups need to be revised from time to time since the market changes over time. We need to adapt to remain profitable. May the pips be with you

I'm using Interbank FX. So far no problem at all. Easy to open account, fund and withdraw. Leverage 1:400 and can trade nano lots. I think it's one of the best brokers out there

I agree that leverage means power. More power means more responsibility. If you abuse that power, you'll face the consequences. Just because you can, doesn't mean that you should

QUOTE(kelvin_tan @ Sep 23 2009, 08:37 PM) This is taken from my private message inbox. Its from autoforexgroup. hmm..i'm not speaking on behalf of autoforexgroup but personally i can see the logic of selling a successful EA. it's not that he 'needs' to sell it but rather he 'wants' to sell it. why does he want to sell it? to make more money of course! if u have a good product, why shouldn't u be selling it? if u r good at doing something, why do it for free? i can sense u have a negative attitude. n i don't blame u if u lost in forex market due to your mentality. my EA is diff. it works for small account can start with $200 only. but it can compound your money up to 500% smile.gif We have tested a $200 account and it become $1200 in just 2 months thumbup.gif i have many members in my forex group. if u don't join us then it's ok, the choice is yours, but please dun call my EA stupid my EA earns real money and if u say earning money is stupid then u probably have lost the opportunity to your financial freedom n i dun blame ppl for getting stuck in the rat race Added on September 23, 2009, 8:45 pmIf ur EA is so profitable.. can make 500% within 2 months.. then y would u need to sell it? |

i am no sifu lah. still learning and still a lot to learn. make sure you graduate from babypips first. there are numerous trading strategies that you can learn online. pick a few and try first. then stick to the one that suits your style the best. i believe there is no one strategy for everybody because each of us is unique and have different risk/reward acceptance level. good luck
