What is the different between Zangief 3p lariat and 3k lariat?
Also, do the 360 differs from lp to hp?
Similarly for the lk to hk?
Thanks.
haha let me try explaining.
PPP / KKK
PPP is a stronger wake up move for air atacks, but timed your lariat correctly then only lariat can be called imba.
kkk this is a trickier move because it has a shorter time and it hits Low then High. its better to punish those who like to Cr.HK sweep like Boxer, Akuma, guile etc.
how to time your lariat:
while crouching, and opponents jumps in with an attack, wait for him to reach your G
ief's shoulder level ( while standing ) and press PPP. probably you will Trade, but hey its Zangief with 1200 stamina and the lower his Hp the stronger he can be Muahahahah.
Heres a move i never try before fighting with players, because i never met elf players got it from Ultra Davids threads.
--Unthrowable lariat
-----What: This is Gief's most useful application for the unthrowable special trick described above. The name describes this move pretty well; it just takes your lariat, which is normally 100% throwable, and makes its startup frames unthrowable. Unfortunately, it also makes your lariat lose to meaty attacks, since you have to press up before pressing lariat.
-----How: Press up and then ppp/kkk. You have to wait a split second between up and the buttons, sorta the same timing as with kara canceling. If you're doing this on your own wakeup, make sure you press up first, and make sure that the reversal message doesn't show up, because that means you inputted the ppp/kkk part of the motion too early.
-----Where: This is really only useful against Fuerte's run-grabs. Gief has more damaging ways to punish most command grabs, but Fuerte's recovers too quickly for those other ways to be viable.

360 lp / Hp
refrain from using Hp SPD although it gives you more damage instead use lp SPD because it gives you more Range. thats the imbaness.
if you really want more damage, do the 360 HK instead because you end up right next to your opponent after it finishes.
