@Double_Ace,
There's no installment plan by Maxis for Hotlink users.  U could try with your Credit Card company to see if they can offer U installment plans though.

@k3v1n,
It should take about 2hrs to activate the plan; your calls + data service will be pro-rated for the month.

hmm..pardon for my poor english, what do you mean by pro-rated?

@k3v1n,
Pro-rated means assuming your bill cycle is 15th of the month and you collect your iPhone on the 1st of the month, you won't have a full bill cycle, just a 15 day bill cycle so everything is halved.

My Mac came up with this definition but I doubt you'll find it v helpful tongue.gif

prorate |prōˈrāt; ˈprōˌrāt|
verb [ trans. ] (usu. be prorated)
allocate, distribute, or assess pro rata : bonuses are prorated over the life of a player's contract.

So it means that the bill that im going to pay is based on how many days u use the old plan until i get the iphone...right?

@k3v1n,
Yes.. it'll be based on how many days you used the old plan (and then your usage will be calculated) plus how many days you used the new plan (again usage will be calculated on pro-rata basis) - add up the 2 and that'll be your bill for the month.

You just have to make sure you pro-rate the data services accordingly.  If assuming pro-rated on 0.5 month basis, your data plan will now be halved (ie: 100MB will now be 50MB).

Oh now i understand! Thanks ya Tinkerbel for explanation notworthy.gif

Hi all, I got a question here, I saw under the turn on Internet tethering button there got a small words said additional charge may apply. What it means actually? Does it mean that when I turn on Internet tethering, it not cover under the rm100 plan?
