Wow the prices are actually pretty damn good ... considering that singtel 8gb 3G's were selling for ~2.4k just a few months ago, 2.5k for 16gb 3G-S is a steal by comparison.

Anyway for those of you who haven't quite joined us at the apple side of the fence, 500gb data is more than enough provided you don't do tethering or downloading of videos via youtube/mxtube.

Example >> a 20-minute anime downloaded off youtube/mxtube is easily 80mb. 2 episodes a week = 640mb already.

just wondering, do any of you have problems with internet tethering since upgrading to OS4? All along I tether happily with OS3.1.3 no probs, after upgrading to OS4 suddenly the internet tethering option unavailable in the settings.

Any ideas? I'm still on a 3G if that matters.

Bah. Dunno what's happening. I did a clean re-install of iOS4, set it up as a new phone, and then got the tethering option. The moment I plug the phone into the USB port of my laptop/PC, the tethering option disappears. been google'ing since yesterday, can't figure out wtf is wrong
