few questions here, 1, i noticed this from rate plan : "Orders for iPhone 3GS can be placed at Maxis Centres, selected Maxis and Apple dealers with a deposit of RM 200. Orders are available only for purchases with i-Value and iData contracts" what does this mean? no order for prepaid plan? i'll get the iphone immediately when i purchase it at maxis centre? 2, Is credit card allowed to be used for purchasing of iphones under any plans? 3, 0% installment = no interest charge for 6/12 mths purchasing i3gs using cc? if i buy i3gs under prepaid plan, using cc, i got charge interest for the next few mths till i pay all the outstanding balance?

whats the difference between idata plan and prepaid plan? i mean for both plans i3gs is at RRP (if i purchase idata plan separately). prepaid plan comes with a free 500mb data for 12 month, it means if i dont make much calls or sms, i just get a pack of youth club and get the free 500mb data for a year with rm10 top up, why would i go for idata which i need to pay rm50 every month? please correct me if im wrong with the idata concept.

QUOTE(elsheik @ Aug 28 2009, 08:35 AM) I went to Maxis Center @Gardens yesterday to order/purchase 3GS with hotlink package. and guess what.....? Maxis has already pulled out that offer. According to the staff there, it has been taken out of the package offer since early Aug 09??? She even showed me a brochure of those packages offered, and Hotlink offer was scratched using red marker. I was really NOT HAPPY. Can Maxis do that? Their website says otherwise (i mean, it still shows prepaid package with outright purchase is still offered). Can someone enlighten this. uh if this is true, it makes me no choice but go for ivalue plan.....and bound to the contract. this is what they want This post has been edited by btr999: Aug 28 2009, 10:15 AM

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Oct 11 2009, 11:49 AM) @groggysquirrel, It's not the same because if you sign up for iValue 1 for a period of 24 months, your i3GS 32GB costs only RM1990 as opposed to paying RM2990 with this UOB promotion. Also, if U don't make much calls, Y go with topping up RM100 p/month? And yes, 500MB should be suffice provided you don't use it to download stuff. so lets just focus on rm100/month, if i don't make much call, personally i think its not worth it to go for either plan from maxis or uob. however, if i make alot calls n sms which cost within rm100, isnt it better for choosing uob's? since theres rm100 air time i pay every month and i get 500mb free data as well

hi guys, i wanna know how does value plus 50 work?(sorry i know this is not maxis value plus plan thread). every month my bill statement writes monthly commitment rm50, but below it charges me rm10-rm20 for usage. isnt value plus 50 include call and sms and it only charges u when u exceed rm50? i rarely make calls and sms, i use msn most the time, maybe just 5 calls per month(less than 5 min). how so i still got usage charges?

1. anyone familiar with maxis call plan charges please help me here. I'm subscribing to value plus 50, i found that every month there is an item Usage Charges which cost me around RM15. i thought there would only be extra usage charges when we called more than RM50. i'm pretty sure i didn't make call or sms more than rm50. so whats this usage charge for?
2. there is another plan in maxis Value First RM30 per month, i want to downgrade to this plan, but am i bonded to value plus RM50 contract? can i change plan without penalty?

QUOTE(Icehart @ Dec 12 2009, 08:43 PM) I believe the three item are Call Forwarding, Call Waiting and Itemized Billing. The charges for Call Forwarding was discounted under the discount section. Not sure about call waiting, but you can save back yourself RM5 by subscribing to internet billing instead of the traditional mail delivery. Save back your RM5 and environment too. no, the three items already included under value added service. usage charge is another category, not exactly rm15 every month. they charge me different amount every month, in between rm10-rm20.
