just booked my iphone 3gs. a question here, wonder if it's a waste that using the iphone without the data plan? as i can see most of the applications need to feed with data.

Normally, how much data used for normal internet browsing thru iphone? Like check email, read newspaper and facebook etc?

thanks for all the reply mates. well i'm actually a digi subscriber, so to utilise the 500mb of free data from hotlink, i will need to switch sim card every now and then... quite hassle for that though. Am comtemplating of whether should i take up the digi's unlimited data plan or not which that will cost additional 66.

tink - i was a maxis subsciber before, just port to digi few months back

won't port back to maxis as digi, imo, is cheaper, although i took up DG50, my monthly utilisation is about 25++ only, every month also under utilise...
