Lower down your radio antenna to reduce interference from radio stations.

no, it shouldnt be like that.. i used to have fm modulator, no inteference at all.. manually tune to a channel that u wont hear any other radio channel sound, even a faint sound.. that should be the good one

I usually live with it.. since for RM35, it's a bargain to a proper mp3 player..since I ain't an audiophile

If u're using USB ThumbDrive as your storage, please use one old pendrive for the modulator specifically for your car entertainment. Dont mix up with other files. You'll lose the files as you'll probably lose your pendrive due to (most probably) unregulated current from the cigarette lighter socket. Maybe not all modulator will do that but most of people who used it (including me for my old Wira) lost at least one thumbdrive....

The best frequency is try to stay away from any frequency the radio broadcast station is using at your region. Take at least 5MHz away (as in if 95MHz got one station, take 90MHz or 100MHz)... but sure enough, in a big city it would be hard... well, i guess 1MHz would do... but if it didn't just lower down your antenna to reduce the interference...

u get what u pay...
that situation u get from what u pay, it's not that clear as cd/mp3 player even tho u set how far frequency from radio frequency... but just for listen to song as it, it's consider ok.. gud luck to all of you then..

Ok here's a tip, first don't install the modulator yet and tune your radio receiver to a channel where there is only noise. Try to tune until you won't hear anyone talking or any music but only noise. Then tune your modulator to that frequency. This will help reduce interference from any near frequency.
But for a cheapo thing, don't expect any crystal clear sound quality la. It's only RM25 and even comes with a remote control.

my fm modulator is MWalker brand, at least got brand la although i know they also rebrand their product from China made chepo item.
bought it for RM45, quality very good, can heard bass clearly and voice is crystal clear which makes me impressed for a mere RM45 item as a lot of ppl complain about crappy bass and unclear voice.
quality of audio wise, should be comparable to normal cd player in car.

another thing u shud look into when using FM modulator is the quality of ur MP3 files...try go for those with 320kbps/files around 8-9MB..
lower/smaller size mp3 files have been compressed so much its lost most d sound quality/details...thus when u play it using FM Modulator it tends to sucks big time & d sound is very soft...

Try to choose another radio frequency & hear the results.
But don't expect SQ quality from a FM Modulator or MP3 source.

I have a RM28 FM Modulator but the sound quality is lousy. I have seen some FM Modulators ranging from RM60 to RM100. Will the more expensive modulators give better sound quality?

i bought one, really cheap just for RM29.90.clear enough for a FM mode.Because Klang Valley has a lot of radio station and the frequency interval between each radio are quite close you need to find a frequency that is quite far between two radio station.I tuned it to 106.00Mhz.

check ur FM modulator can support what file system (NTFS or FAT)
if ur modulator only support FAT file system, format ur pendrive to FAT instead rather than NTFS...

since no documentation provided, u can try to format ur pen drive into FAT and NTFS for trial-test...
at least 50-50 chances and no harm to try...

Hi.

I just bought RedFox FT51 last week.

The problem I'm having right now is that the player won't save the play setting/equalizer, no matter what!

I want it to stay Random & use Rock equalizer.

Anyone knows how I'm going to do that?

By logic, I sure can coz the player seems to remember the last position of the song played previously.

Please help me... cry.gif cry.gif

Thank you.

To avoid interference from radio stations, just use auxiliary output.
Applicable only if your head unit has got auxiliary input.

Just buy a cable look like this:
