if i purchase the iphone 16gb wif idata plan 2 can i get the iphone with installment?

wow so fast..........i booked mine on 2nd Sept and still nothing but already called to maxis 123 today and they said will get back to me before 3pm. Anyhow, i'll pay a visit to cheras maxis center later since alot of people area getting their iphone respectively already.

Based on my first 2 Maxis bills under iValue2 plan, the free calls cover ALL LOCAL calls including Maxis to Digi, Celcom and Telekom fixed line.
It DOES NOT cover outstation calls, calls to your Voicemail or calls to 1300 phone lines.

So you should have nothing to fear as long as the calls are made within the same region (like Central to Central).

didn't care about their call/sms/email anymore. i just walk in maxis center klcc.
1 unit booked on 16 aug. today got it. i got another unit booked on 24th aug, today 1 month ngam2, ask them whether got stock for the second unit and they say yes.

before that, i just ask the promoter outside there, saying that i book on 24th aug and when can get. he said at least 1 more week. i ask again at the counter and they check thru the comp

hey guys, just got my white 16GB 3GS , waited for 2 weeks 4 days. Very happy now, not to mention that i got it with the almost extinct prepaid plan.

I've just gotten my 3GS today, from maxis agent in Ampang point, the best news ever.

Waited 17 days for this phone!

Jz receive call from the MEP that I booked my iphone which located in themines. Damn happy when I receive the call because I sms the guy atleast once a week and bombard maxis email 3 times. Not long I receive call from the MEP guy, I receive call from official maxis which I tell the lady my problem is solved because the MEP already call me and inform me to pick up the phone. Then the lady say: I was going to tell you it was we inform them to inform you.

I wonder if my 3 times email bombardment works or it just happen that my Iphone reach on time. haha!
Btw, did I mention I booked 16gb White? XD

bro, chill lah. they show you face? next time you go there, remember you are a consumer, and you have rights, they show you face, demand to see "upstairs" and complain about the horrible service, and threaten to file a complain against them. make a lot a lot of noise, until they are scared of you.

If I book my iphone 3gs in Epicentre Pavillon, do I contact Maxis or Epicentre to check on the booking status?

u apply for maxis, cut off ur celcom, transfer ur number to the new line...
MNP allows u to retain the same number for that....
of coz this has to specify when u walk in to register for this...so that they can help u arrange for it.

may i know which maxis center did you reserve your iphone?

Its a bit more complicated for me as well, because I subscribed to the IValue under a totally new number and to get the number I wanted, I had to get a temporary SIM-card that costs me rm30 (for 30days - basically its a basic service sim) .. the woman at the counter assured me that it would only take 30days , so if my phone doesn't turn up then, I'm going to make lots and lots of nice.. to the point I will make sure when I am at the Maxis Gardens, I will make a loud enough noise, so that any potential IPhone customers will know how shitty they are with handling the orders .... of course that is just what I will do, but for now they have not  driven me over the edge yet and thanks for the contact info.

Another thing, is there any way to check my status without actually going to the maxis center? The reason is.. they said they would call/sms me but as I mentioned this is under a separate line, and although I reminded them to SMS me on my original line, I worry that their incompetence would make them ignore that request and just keep calling or SMS on my unused new sim-card ..

Seriously, Maxis should have an online checking system..

whats is the phone number of maxis center malaysia?? me booked from sarawak at 20th aug and not yet recieved my phone, is 1800821123 the best number to complaint? i call this number yesterday and the operator tell me surely can get the phone within 2 month??  i got mad,    i say: whats so big difference between sarawak and kl, y some of them already get their phone even they book after me, and she said that is not suppose to happen, kl site also got alot people wait more than a month, then i ask her: sure can get the phone within 2 months? she say sure, i say: wat if i dun get my phone after 2 month... guess wat she said... uh uhh.... I CANNOT GUARANTEE U THAT... WXF just now u say within 2 month, now u say no guarantee......u playing with me is it????         after that she just keep on saying sry sry and say she will call me back asap for my status.....but i didn't receive their call untill now....

anyone here know a more effective way to complaint ???

I booked mine on 1 sept at maxis ipoh. today received a call from maxis, told me all the grandmother story of worldwide shortage la, nationwide shortage la, and main distribution point is in Klang Valley la, thats why outside Klang Valley, lower priority la. I asked what the hell... that "mother mary" told me to wait another 14 days. I was expecting to collect on 1 oct and now they are telling me this bulls***?

the official receipt mentioned collection date is 30 days from booking date. so we commit RM200 for 30 days. they can't deliver... does that mean maxis breach contract? can we sue them?

Seems like KL side is having much better condition then us in Sarawak here bro. Btw, which number are u calling to makes the complaint?

Ordered mine from Seremban Maxis Centre on 28th August 2009...

My current Samsung i780 have problems (sometimes it shut down automatically), thus asked the Maxis promoter there when can I get my 3Gs and she told me within 2 weeks. After waiting for 2 WEEKS, I went to the Maxis Centre again to pay my bill, I asked the same staff and she said the item should arrive max 3 WEEKS (another one week)... Hmm, I feel a bit uncomfortable about my booking but what the heck, just 1 week to wait. As I always passing by the Maxis Centre for work, I went there again after 3 WEEKS+ and asked the same staff, she said sorry as there's some delay for the 3Gs, some problems (procedures) with the Customs Department, maybe will take about 1 month from the booking date... F%$& S*&T!

Last Saturday I went back there and met another staff, at first she thought I've booked mid September, when I explained to her that I've booked last month and Maxis staffs kept on promising from 1 date to another, she then checked from the store but disappointed (again), 45 days from the booking date.

Back home, I shoot 2 e-mails to Maxis Centre explaining the inconsistent info given by the staffs, keep on giving dates (and me keep on waiting for it), and yesterday Maxis Centre called me for an apoligize, reason : 3Gs shortage throughout the world + many bookings during fasting month.

What to say, have waited for 1+ month now how to cancel? Just close 1 eye and use my "automatic shut-down phone" until the 3Gs arrive lor...

Same here, Ben was the person who handed me the iphone, total wait time was less than 3 weeks, they say 1-2 months just to be safe, so the customers wouldnt complain if it is delayed, its reasonable since theyre the only ones who are allowing prepaid bookings, my friend who booked together with me has also received his, a black 16GB while mine is white.

I don't think they have called you. It is more like a convenient tactic whereby they just notify you over sms so that you cannot 'retaliate' with your feedback and they are not obligated to take down your complaints and file it down. In chinese's saying, kill first... think later. Or a preemptive attack.

I booked mine on 1 Sept at Maxis Ipoh. Heard many members here got their phone already even though u guys booked at later date.

*sigh* I feel dejected and disappointed at Maxis. I feel so excited when the 30 days have arrived, but this bulls*** message... "love" it so much... holy mother mary.
