@jonest,
I wasn't charged extra. I used 7020kb of data BEFORE I signed up for the plan so I was charged RM70.20 for that. However, the total amount of data I used before the plan wasn't reflected on the bill/site; only the RM99 (pro-rated of course for the month) was reflected - am wondering, any possibility of getting the total data usage used? @teckhooi, Singapore/Maxis sets come from the same factory in China; the difference is the pricing plans. Ask urself where you're based and which is most convenient for U. Also do take note of the local warranties. This post has been edited by tinkerbel: Jul 20 2009, 10:15 AM |

@sanzo86,
Yes that is right, the existing available units (if any) are meant for those who pre-booked and have yet to make collection |

Yes.. iPhone warranties are limited to local warranties hence if U purchase the phone from SG U haf to go back to SG to claim warranty. |

@shdwkillr,
There might be a possibility unles they control it v well; as in if there's 10,000 units, they only take 10k pre orders. |

@Icehart,
I don't think so. Last I heard, Celcom definitely doesn't have intentions to bring it in and well that means we're left with DiGi. I don't see why DiGi should either *shrugs* |

@Jasonjinct,
The iPhone handset is the same; both are officially unlocked and usable with any SIM cards. As to the App Store, the Singapore app store is the Singapore app store and the MY app store is the MY app store. Am not sure if you're allowed to use a MY CC in the SG app store. |

@Jasonjinct,
Apps are generally skewed towards country specific so there may be some apps available in the Singapore store meant for Singapore users which aren't available on other stores and vice versa. |

@Jasonjinct,
Always purchase the iPhone in the country where you live, that way you have 1 year warranty Added on November 21, 2009, 7:51 pm@FoxAss, You have the weigh the pros and cons and then make the decision. As you've put it, the AU set will not be warrantied if and when you get back to SG. If it's not too troublesome, Y don't u just get the official SG sets? @Taneesha, Y can't U just ask here and who are you posting that request to?
