After i PM thurtin to ask when will the CELgames starts...here is the reply i got from him...



So what do you all think? Is it good to have the CELgames starts so late and when WCG is coming? Or would be better to start after the WCG?

i feel doesnt matter lo.as long as both tournament use same game..if different game.then susah la..how to train wor that time..

I would prefer it to be start before WCG, hopefully a month before. Last year, CELGames was known as a warm-up tournament for WCG, though the prize is much better compare to WCG's one. BUT, why players fought harder for WCG is because it gives us a place in the WCG Grand Finale in Monza for this year. I believe if CELgames were to be held earlier before WCG will improve the standard of Malaysian Gamers. It happen to me last year and Jali as well, if im not mistaken ^^.

So I think CELgames should be the warm up for WCG and not WCG being the warm up for CELgames. I hope the organizers will see this post and change the current sitution.

Anyway guys, I'll be right back next week to continue FIFA friendly ^^. See Ya

Well if its starts late it will become a tourney for warm up for the representative of Malaysia~ summore bcoz its starts late ppl will still play fifa 06 even after wcg 06.. lol

so now talk about WCG.. start friendly now..!!!

Anyway...it depends on the organizers...it's not easy to organize an event in a short time period...as they just finished with the EFC 06 which was a successful and great tourney

Either way, it makes not much of a difference to me. Though a constant flow competition would be welcome to keep us all training and motivated. If competitions are set too far apart, chances are all of us will be slacking and that would mean games like DotA for an example will be dominating our playing time. Haha!

Then again, I can totally understand the rush of having to organize another event in such short notice. So, before or after WCG I'm fine with it. We're blessed enough to see more competitions for FIFA this time round. So be grateful! xD

Anyway CELgames should not be categorised as the warm up match for WCG. It will distort the purpose of having CELgames in the first place.

Any organiser always puts out their best effort for their own game event, and it is unfair to brand all of them as best or second.

If you put this word in the market, no one will ever dare to organise tournaments anymore. It will most probably be WCG's warm up match's warm up match.
