1. Brand: Anything
2. Budget. 1500-2500
3. Specs- good quality music, wifi, good camera, etc. (cant think of any right now XDD)

I preffer touchscreen, or maybe qwerty and user friendly.

I got a few candidate, but I've been reading some negarive reviews about them...

My candidates - Nokia N97, IPhone (but I dont really want to use maxis), LG Arena, Samsung Jet, or maybe OMNIA and a few other phones...

Which one is better and worth the money? =/

Thanks ^^ XDD *but seriously thanks*

I heard N97 has a lot of bug =/ The camera is not that good also. And it is expensive! I need to use my money if I want to buy it. Is it durabble? I hope it wont break easily if I accidentally drop it... XDD

IPhone also lack some normal/usual function which annoys me a bit

EDIT: OMG! N900 is super slick! But it'll probably cost me a fortune =(
I also like LG lolipop (especially when big bang and 2ne1 sang for the commercial), but hard to find sparepart for LG here =(

I am in the line of considering N97 too and with some deep research and discussion about it, the latest firmware fixed up some of the obvious issues.

Frankly speaking, a smart phone defined as a bit of everything phone. If you prefer to have good camera features, SonyEricsson is what you should seek. N97 built and designed with connectivity in mind while not loosing all the todays functions.

Dropping a phone is depends on how high is the fall. If its <30cm fall then the damage wont be severe except for some scratches or dents around with possibility of cracks. If fall >30cm then you have to be ready for some parts replacements.

N97 from my readings of user experience, some of them dropped the phone accidentally and no one have yet to face any side effect from the drop.

Also something you have yet to figure out, N97 uses the very latest Symbian build which leads to slow third party app development. It will be on track in a few months.

I've decrease my choices to 2:
N97 and Samsung OMNIA II. N97 is expensive though XDDD

I love the physical apperance of n97 better though (but I never seen both phones with my own eyes before XDD)

Is the slide qwerty keypad easy to use? I have small hands, so I am not that worried X3

Small fingers fits in N97 qwerty keypad very well.

N97 compared to Samsung Omnia II and i would say Samsung ones fits you better. N97 is more towards productivity while Omnia II is towards functionality.

I have seen and tried N97 before but have yet to put my hands on Omnia II.

these phone[N97 and Omnia 2] will be hard to choose...

just in case.. of you like WM phone.. go for omnia 2..
if you like Symbian phone just go for N97..

but in term of comfortability and user-friendly.. N97 is the best..

in term of camera and music... N97 is better..

in term of hardware... Omnia 2 is better...

seriously.. you need to test these two phones before you buy... ohmy.gif

Have to agree that white is a better option. Do note that N97 surface is glossy so its prone to capture oily finger prints and virtually anything else that would give stains.

Also, invest some screen protector for the phone too biggrin.gif

Symbian S60v3/v5 has a lot of applications for it. Combine with N97, there is a lot of functionality to use.

However, physical and look/design wise, Nokia devices are normally ugly and big, as compared to IPhone, Samsung, LG, etc.

Therefore, if you wish to go for fashion/design/look, don't buy Nokia. If you plan to utilise the functions, and connectivity to PC often, then I strongly suggest Nokia.

Symbian UIQ is dead.
The phone is laggy and the 5MP camera is just trick. Big megapixel doesn't mean the camera quality is good.
*
Prove to me that its dead. Don't just wrote something that you just read from somewhere. And how did you know the phone is lag? Have you tried it? I tried N79 that lag worse than G900. Camera might not be a big deal on this phone, but even their competitor don't give any much better quality either

Hi, I've been looking at hps for a while and need some advice. (:

1. Sony Ericsson.
2. Around RM600 (original, preferably)
3. Good keypad, not necessarily Walkman phone, camera more than 2MP. WiFi isn't possible for my budget, right?
4. Slider.
