U80v have to wait until end of September?

finally~!! got my Asus U80V!! I got the P8700 model.
standard spec la.. no nid to tell i suppose u guys already know.. hehe

wow... i never know u80v batt can last that long!

no wonder i kept my laptop running high performance and the batt can last for at least 2 hours...

so far, i'm quite happy with my new lappie.. mayb i previous one was just too old..

that is quite pretty standard right...? like ppl will get a carrying case when they buy Acer... also made by Targus..

i'm getting headache now...

most of the game i installed, all are not responding, NFS undercover, NFS Pro Street, Devil May Cry 4, Lost Planet Colonies.. all are not running.. even the 3DMark06 is not running!!!

Can somebody tell me what's wrong with me U80V?

this is a brand new laptop. used not more than a week, yet i still need to find the updated driver?

Well, i have done nothing to the windows system yet, beside disabled the UAC. and like i said this laptop is still new like a virgin. It doesnt convinced me if you said i have to update any driver.

i suppose this is not a hardware issue. i'm quite sure about this. I tried install a quite simple game. the Game ran, I tried run dota on my machine, it ran.

but when i installed something a little heavier, the game started but no respond. hope u understand what it means, it ran but not responding. it like when u execute NFS undercover by double clicking the icon, it brought u to another screen but the screen turned black, u see the vista clock is ticking but no more further reaction.



astria : do you know what is the latest version of driver for ATI HD4570? I hv no idea where to find the latest driver.

ok.. previously i mentioned about my U80V couldnt run any game and yet it didnt give me any error and windows suggested to either close the program or wait for the program to respond rite?

I've reformatted this sexy babe with Asus recovery tools.. at least now i can play gear of war and GRID. hmm... Should be the OS problem...

er.. have u try use the Asus recovery CD to do a reformat? My u80v was totally unable to play any game b4. but after i did the recovery, everything seems working already.. =) mayb u can try..

PF, 1 thing i'm very concern, what if our HDD spoiled within the waranty period? or after the warranty period, how am i gonna change my HDD if want want?

does your laptop have the 'Asus Fancystart' application installed? My U80v have that application installed, if you have, you can try turn off the sound from there..

why my lappie couldnt run 3DMark 2006? is it because my lappie doesnt hv DX10?

I heard my fren said vista cannot run DX10, is it true..? o.O

well, i think it might be the 3DMark app itself got problem.

I tried download again from other source, this one need registration code one... it works..

u dun actually need to plug in the cable if u want to use wlan. and u dun hv to disable ur lan. just need to make sure ur cable is unplugged.
