He already sold his problematic laptop (btw, the laptop is BenQ S41 with nVidia 8600M GS )...now, he is a proud owner of Asus N81Vp ...

Maybe you can opt selling yours???

Yup, Asus latest design in laptop are quite impressing...just like astria mention, its hot when you feel the hot breeze going out through the ventilation area but other area is cool which makes us user comfortable..

tried the original driver from Asus?? ...still have the same problem??

well, i use BenQ S42 with modded Dox driver...for the modded one,when switch to Intel GPU, this problem will appear..like wise saying that the nvlddmkm stopped working ..i think it got problem with INF files for the driver

You read wrong dude ..the one that astria mention is Asus N81Vp not Asus N81Vg...N81Vp is T9600 with HD4650 while N81Vg is T9600 with GT120M ...

Yup, comparing Asus N81Vg/N81Vp and Dell SXPS 16, SXPS 16 win in overall spec ...but for me, still like astria i'll go for N81Vp ...SXPS 16 is just way to big for me ...we all have our preferences

I tot PC City in Kuching sells Asus laptop...they are Asus Dealer in SWK..maybe you can try call them or maybe try going to their shop lor..

By default, you can use Vista drivers for Win 7 ...unless you are thinking changing your 32-bit Vista to a 64-bit OS..then you need to search for the drivers..won't be that hard though

Must consider your location as well..i think in MY cannot get idling at 30+C lor..at least maybe 40+C like that...expect a much higher temp for MY lor..

Well, i3 can be compared with C2D P8 Series & T9 Series..if not better opt for i5 ...got Turbo Boost & HTT, while i3 only consist of HTT ...
