Well, i have been using it to play Street fighter IV during my working hours.
No problem so far. Yes, it is warmer than other intel processor laptop, but not THAT WARM.
In terms of performance wise, i would say it's faster.

other than street fighter IV, tried COD4, Left 4 dead on it. No problem ^^

K50AB will be release one week before PC fair.
Pricing will be almost the same like K40AB, just whether you want 14inches or 15inches screen.

You can drop by at my shop if you want. I let you play with some games and you can try and see whether the heat is that high or not.
Putting in an additional RAM will not void the warranty of your laptop.
