Hi guys..good to see an Asus thread here. i'm looking to get a new laptop, preferably 13" or at most 14". Nothing beyond that. Was just checking out Asus' website and the models which are 13" are F6V and F6A. Are these two models still available? What are the specs, how much and where can I get it?
I downloaded some price list off LYN and don't see F6A/V in any of the lists. I don't see them when I was walking around LY last week either. I'm also considering Vostro 1320 and Latitude 5400. (quite bang for buck these two Dells). Hehe..

it life time of the graphic card juz around 1 year oni.
Bought my laptop 2yrs ago, and graphic card faulty after 1yr bought. then replace the whole new motherboard , integrated graphic card, then after 1yr repair, it SPOILT AGAIN!!!! and the warranty juz nicely expired!!!
Called and asked the charges to replace new motherboard, it cost more than rm1000 !!!!!

Asus just RMA the faulty part for you. The thing is, the Nvidia component itself especially 8600M is not good at all.

Hi I'm new to this thread.
Was choosing a laptop, then astria recommended me a ASUS U80V after knowing my needs.
But I can't locate a M'sia web with such model.
It's not available locally?
It is available in Msia. It just that no more stock, all sold out. Unless you want to go for U50V P8700 which is same price with U80V but with extra full keyboard. Was choosing a laptop, then astria recommended me a ASUS U80V after knowing my needs.
