Hi, all HTphiles here, can you guys sharing what's your favourite movies especially action movies which are looks astonishing good & excellent in nowadays Full HD home theater system. It's good to share!

I start it first, my favourites are : LOTR trilogy, Terminator Salvation, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Transformer, The Incredible Hulk (by Edward Norton), Fearless (Jet Li), Ip Man, Underworld trilogy, Batman Begins, Dark Knight, Spiderman trilogy, Ironman, Shooter... so far that's all I can think of, will update it if I remember more...

The action movie i truly enjoy is the Matrix, Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolution. Went to watch Matrix Reloaded for 4 times, Matrix Revolution 2 times in the cinema. And I just really love the action and the story which is very 'different' and unique.

2nd is Pirate of the Caribbean trilogy

3rd is Spiderman trilogy

4th All Batman movies

5th is Die hard Quadrology.

I think the one I still remember I watch countlessly is Shrek (first one). Heck I can even remember most of the script. That's why I laugh my ass off when I see "I am Legend". Me n that guy can be friend

I think the thread too focused to movies in particular. I suggest to re-title to "Favorite Action Movies For Your Home Theater" or something to make it more relevant to this forum section. The current title really sounds like it should be in the "Movies & Music" section.

My 2 cents.

By the way, will add my favorite movies later, too many to think of.

Black Hawk Down is legendary for it's flawless 5.1 PCM soundtrack and that's what I use to impress the boys when they are over

yes it is but I can't stand a movie with too much blood or body parts or ur guts everywhere

im wishing to see Wonderpets in HD...haha..if got la..

Is the LOTR trilogy available in 1080p?...or is it from HDTV source?

my favourite all time action movie till today is only one movie, aliens(2nd trilogy),fully loaded with big guns grenade launcher and torcher,fahking muthafaka bada$$ attitude marine and aliens,nice casting,and star heroine by sigourney weaver. u can get uncut movie for this,extra 20 minutes. best best,i watched it from videotape,to vcd,to LD,to DVD9. hopefully can get bluray.(not sure got release or not). FYI,this is a sci-fi 80's film.

second will be saving private ryan,fifth element,and matrix trilogy.

others movie=the thing,he-man,the barbarian,hercules,catch me if u can,blood diamond,body of lies,departed,all movie by leonardo except titanic.

Get the box version all 4 inside but too bad only 1st and 4th got DTS

Then I bet the SAW series does not suits your preference at all...

Aliens (2) got only in HDTV...but I dun care...still getting it...checked it out and its the Extended Version with DTS some more...hurray!!

Anyway...can anyone recommend FnF...which is the best Fast and Furious movie, 1,2 or 3? Gonna get one just in case some of my car friends come visiting.

LOTR is considered action movie? I though its genre is War/Adventure?
