to know if your set is wobbly.. just playing around with your slide..
try to slide up and slide down.. if it hard.. your phone isnt wobbly..

I'm the first time user for N-series phone...
may i know how to install software in to memory card?

the purpose of PC suite is it use to install application on the phone??

Still in the mist to choose between this phone and 6710. Both have almost the same spec the only thing I was more on GPS need.

Maybe this evening will go back to town and perhaps can resolve my mist... smile.gif

yeah.. opera mini 5 beta had released..
i used it now..
it has many new features.. such as
- can watch flash video
- multitab browsing
- nice interface

i dk how much time recharge the phone to full..
but usually.. it in 2++ hours



to install.
just send the installer [.sis / .jar / .sisx ] into the phone/memory card.. through cable/bluetooth

then you can install it .. go to file manager[in your phone].. then find the installer.. and install..[it will ask whether you want to install in memory card or phone..]

or.. if you using bluetooth... it will send into inbox.. when u open the inbox,.. it will ask for install/not.. then install....

many purpose of PC suite
..but i dont think we use it so much

you are GPS tracker.. maybe 6710 Navigator is better..
but this phone quite good [when using garmin] .. you can read the comment from N85 user in http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1125774
and also http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/795928

for overall performance.. just go for N85..
but if u care more about GPS.. maybe 6710 navigator is better

it is possible.. i have tried it with my tv at my house..

but make sure that.. you car LCD has the port... sweat.gif

My 2 DIN player have a navigation option and it can use av-in as it source. I have seen N95 user hook out their phone to car LCD and I intend to do the same. So I can see navigation screen on 6.5 inch screen.

Just bought N85 today, try to update the firmware but it failed due to weird reason, it asked me to connect my phone directly to PC which I'm already do that... Any idea why it happened?

take out the cover and battery to see the product code of your phone..

then.. can i know your version of firmware now..??

My set was AP set... Not enough budget for Ori set la...

My product code was 0569602 and my current version of firmware was 11.047 dated 19-11-2008 and there is custom version 11.047.53.1.

Shop where I bought my phone they charge RM50 for Garmin installation. But I installed it myself...

NO !!.. if they offer you.. thats mean they want to con you ..

garmin software is free[which you can download as page 1].. but you need to buy garmin license.. which is RM 300+++
there are some shop that sell this below than the price.. it is conned.. they sell you non-original garmin
[i mean they generate the license illegally]
