BTW , how about Pulse , or Kairo . Another japanese movie , the trailer doesn't looks scary though .

I think 'Kairo' is quite scary.
The movie starts off promising but it is very slow toward the end.
A lot of metaphors that I don't quite get as well.
Not for every horror fans, i must say.

As for Jap horror, I recommend 'Infection' as well.
At least, I get it even though it is quite slow too.

I think Wes Craven was so into making a "comeback" and he OVER THUNK the script, it is SO MESSY and CROWDED it is NOT funny

He didn't even BOTHER to explain anything at the end which only lead to the watcher going HUH???????

Hope the master of horror will come back with Scre4m.

I like PA original ending, more impact to the audience, IMO.
Overall, both PA & PA2 are fine, but the endings are a bit silly.
I actually laughed at the ending of PA2.

Scream 4.
I thoroughly enjoyed the movie despite some flaws here and there.
More blood, more surprise, more suspense than the previous sequels.
And don't f**k with the originals.

7.5/10

I like Imprint and Deer Woman from the series better.
However, must say Jenifer is the best thing from Dario Argento since...well, long time ago.

Just now i watch An American Werewolf in London. Horrible plot and story line, ending really serve no purpose to the whole plot. The only good thing is the special effect and gore. But surprisingly this movie was well received, 88% in Rotten Tomatoes. Btw, i like the cheesiness... i think maybe this movie wasn't meant to be so serious.

It is more like a comedy. I prefer it over Howling.

I think the genre is somewhat dead but some interesting trailers pop up.
Guess if these movies turn out to be bad, we at least have a great time enjoying the 2 minutes trailers.

Sinister

Another movie recycling ideas from amityville horror to insidious, in other words, every family with children haunted house movie.
But it looks awesome from the trailer.

V/H/S

Red Band Version here

Must say it is quite interesting even though the found footage idea has been recycled gazillion times.

More Haunted House Movies this year.

Insidious Chapter 2

I seriously could not figure out how they're going to drag it out.

The Conjuring

Seems like there are going to be a lot of jump scares. People laugh at jump scares these days.

This upcoming horror movies look promising for the year

This year's conjuring but not Conjuring 2

Deliver Us From Evil

This year's torture porn with lots of stupid people doing stupid things

The Green Inferno

This year's ultimate psychological thriller, which may brilliantly recreate the Hitchcock type of Suspense

Grand Piano

This year's creepy child horror movie, which brilliantly removed the supposingly jump scares from the jump scare scenes in the trailer

Babadook

They might all be crappy but who knows!
I still have faith in Horror these days.

Blair Witch is back, revamped with better production and bigger budget.

Reviews from SDCC is positive.
Hope it does not disappoint.
2016 looks to be a good year for horror movies so far.
