Cube is a Canadian production, neither American nor English

Haunte Tension is good... just prepare yourself for the ugly truth in the end...it's so ugly that it could kill the movie, IMO

Event Horizon. Anyone?
*
Yes...event horizon. "Ghost ship" concept but in outer space tongue.gif

This is my interpretation of that bit

After being exposed to so much radiation, he rapidly evolved to the point that he can shift (time/dimensionally)

Unfortunately, having evolved that capability, also effected him psychologically (dementia perhaps)

He saw the crew trying to re ignite the sun as a threat to his existence so...

actually...there's no shift (time/dimensionally) thing happen...that guy juz had major psychotic break (could be caused by looking at the sun too much)...n end up sabotaging his mission...
as for why he's still survive...prolly because the plant on his ship is fertile...so no oxygen/food problem...

My bad, it's Haute Tension tongue.gif

Like the movie title, this movie has a lot of "tension" moments. And i do mean a lot! It seemed like a crazed serial killer stalking movie feel...not wanting to ruin any spoilers, lets just say that you'll be entertained. smile.gif

Audition

user posted image

Directed by Takeshi Miike. This movie needs some patience into it because its 2 hours long and the first hour is pretty slow. Single parent wants to go dating, best friend sets up a fake "audition" for pretty ladies, he dates one of them, then boom. This movie can literally blow your mind off when you get to see her "real" self. Director Rob Zombie and Eli Roth mentioned this film before in the top 20 (or was it top 50 horror movies) as being the most, screwed up movie ever.

Suicide Club aka Suicide Circle

user posted image

Another bizzare jap film. A recent epidemic of suicide trend happening in Japan, involving mostly teenage high school girls.

Black Christmas (1974)

user posted image

The mother lode of slasher films. Unlike many slasher films, this one puts you in the "eyes" of the killer. One scene involving a girl suffocated through a plastic bag, like in the picture. Her dead facial expression with her blank dead eyes, managed to freak out the entire movie audiences.

Cube (my bad, it's Canadian)

user posted image

Trapped people in a strange labyrinth of "cubes" filled with death traps, best way to describe the movie.

Outpost (UK, my bad)

user posted image

Nazi super soldiers vs. mercenaries. Awesomeness.

Eden Lake (UK)

Really, i hate spoilt kids after watching this movie.

This was what I posted in the Drag Me To Hell thread after I had watched the movie

It's OLD SKOOL

That's why!!?

That's why the critics in the States love it

That's why so many people DON'T like it

For me, I ABSOLUTEDLY LUVvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv it rclxms.gif

The car park scene... WOW

There r silly moments (the anvil comes to mind) but that's Sam Raimi

Well, what is the MORAL of the story

Never look DOWN of the aged!! tongue.gif

Go to this movie with an open mind and you won't dismiss it

IT'S OLD SKOOL!! nod.gif

I'm so ashamed to say that I have not watched 'Se7en' in its full length... Only watched bits and pieces...

I have not watched Hellraiser too, but I watched the sequel to the first one...
Not bad though it is quite silly.
