Dear apisgogo,

You sound like already budget for truck oreadi, so go for it la. If don't like, then sell loh.

I think from Honda City to Truck is a descent upgrade la, but from City to MPV like Alphard.... must be out your mind, unless money grow on trees.

I love my honda city. My normal driving can go up to 550km for full tank (full tank abt 75+). But it has to go, mileage too high already.

My loan for ranger just approved smile.gif now the waiting begin. Sa mentioned some ppl canceled their booking and i might get their spot. Finger crossed. Now using wife small car to work.

Im going for auto 2.2. Cant wait.

Guys, saw the new Isuzu Dmax on the road at night. Are we getting the 2.5 biturbo version like the UK? Thailand didn't get this model though.

My ford ranger has arrived. Loving it so far.

Is engine break in necessary? long time haven't bought new car.

Wah, so fast arrived? Congrats on the new toy!!! rclxms.gif I saw a few around already, the new Ranger looks nice.

What is 'engine break-in'? I would just drive it smoothly for at least the first 5000km le. Anyway, diesel engine is very linear in pickup. Even if you floor the pedal, truck wont really pickup like petrol car, only a lot of black smoke will come out from the back, so no point to tekan aso.

Ya, was surprised too. Kudos to my SA (Capital Intertrade Sdn Bhd, Kayu Ara) for a fast and smooth service. Got my loan approve within a day biggrin.gif

You know engine break-in period, suppose to go easy until 1000km? something like that. Im no sure tongue.gif

Was impressed with the NVH of the Ranger. When idling, couldn't really feel the engine running, but when you accelerate you can hear the engine. Power is not really bursting in, not so sure haven't floor it yet. But you can feel the 'going'.

Gadgets is kinda cool also. love those thingy where you can sync your phone and stuff.

Can really feel that toughness when driving this thing. I'm not used to the height yet, definitely feel like 'above' than others smile.gif bumps absorbed quite smoothly.

Interior built is above average to me, but not the level you could find in those germans. I like its soft touch steering. Plastics dashboards is acceptable.

Will continue update.

Shd arrange for TT session la, check out your brute icon_rolleyes.gif (if you r based around KL or PJ la that is) tongue.gif I heard this model is designed specifically in Aussieland to cater for East Asian market. The Ranger has always been the baby of all Ford trucks, but was never as 'ferocious' looking until now.

test model is xlt 2.2 izzit? as far as i know msia only bring in 3.2 wildtrek leh...

ur question very subjective lor.. i think best if the item does not go higher than the roof of d cabin...

u can carry tall n light item or even heavy but when u turn u gotta be careful lor... also weight distribution, if ur item top heavy then surely the car's balancing will have prob... usually too tall items ppl will put behind and tow it lor..

Not 2.2xlt. You go PJ branch Ford I remember is 2.2 XLT Wildtrak model. I ask sales also get similar answer. You can check it out here: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=54147038

Thanks for the answer. I was looking forward to carry boxes of seafood. Currently using Vanette (cannot over window's height). If can carry but not over the roof of the d cabin, this is a very good news. thumbup.gif

I am also looking for the top-up cover for my Ranger. Planning to look at Thailand but somehow feel lazy to go there since can get it from KL shop also, just the price is higher than in Thailand.

My Ranger first service should be on the first 1000km but until now havent send to service. Now its almost 2800km. Is it okay? And how much is the cost for the first service, normally?
