I can't send MMS... it gets 95% through sending one, and then it stops and gives me a red error icon next to the MMS which when I click on it says "Your message was not sent. Tap 'Try Again' to send this message".

I'm not sure if it's because the settings are wrong, because I uploaded the IPCC from http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/752226 which has worked for others. I also tried editing the carrier.plist file to change the APN from "unet" (which is for 3G I think) to "net", but it made no difference.

Maybe the problem is the person I am sending to, so can someone else try sending me an MMS to 012 282 5895, and I can try sending one back? Thanks!

FWIW I'm a Hotlink user, so it may not matter whether pre or postpaid. And I can use EDGE (GPRS), no problems, just not MMS.

Does your Cellular Data Network screen show values in the APN, username and password for both Cellular Data and also MMS? If so, did you use the carrier profile (IPCC) from this site with the carrier logo, or the default Maxis profile from Apple?

Actually I have now made some progress - I have created a modified carrier.plist file so that if you go into the Cellular Data Network settings and click "Reset Settings" then it will fill in all the correct data in all fields. But, that hasn't actually helped. I'm attaching the carrier.plist (remove .txt). I'm not sure how to make this into an IPCC file, so I just used the IPCC file from this site and uploaded the modified carrier.plist using SSH (one trick to watch for is that it's stored in two different places - /System/Library/Carrier Bundles and also /private/var/mobile/Library/Carrier\ Bundles).

Maxis
APN: unet

You need "net" not "unet" for 2G. However, having said that, it still doesn't work for me with those settings.
