How to enable MMS on your iPhone2G:
(copied from my tumbs since someone told me not to direct the solution to my tumblr...)
(here's the solution to help those who are still at a lost...)

Yes, it is now possible to send MMS on your (old) iPhone2G and not feel left out.

The author Geniusan produced a Cydia package “ActivateMMS2G” for iPhone2G.

No, its not for iPhone3G -which should be able to send MMS on the current OS3.0.

Instructions for iPhone2G owners:

What you need is:

* OS3.0 downloaded
* Jailbroken & Cydia installed
* ActivateMMS2G installed

1.Once you downloaded ActivateMMS2G, restart the iphone.

2.On your iphone Safari, goto http://help.benm.at and select the 2nd Mobileconfigs - which is a generator for your configurations.

3. Enter - if you are on DIGI:

DiGi MMS Setting

* APN: digimms
* User Name: mms
* Password: mms

4. Install the configurations and then immediate REBOOT. This is where most people mess up. They just RESTART the iphone, and not REBOOT. To Reboot, you need to hold HOME and Power button together until the APPLE comes back out again.

5. Then go to Settings/General/Network/Cellular Data Network/ and see if the APN is now filled with “digimms” and then enter the MMSC and MMS proxy values .

* MMSC: http://mms.digi.com.my/servlets/mms
* MMS proxy: 203.092.128.160

6. Leave the MMS Max file size - blank and MMS UA Prof URL blank.

7. Change the Cellular Data - APN, Username and Password to:

* APN: diginet
* Username: -blank-
* Password: -blank-

8. Go to Settings/Messages/ and turn on MMS.

9. Now u can send MMS on DiGi with your iphone!

These tips are found from trial and error and believe me, I have read many sites and forums and none is helpful enough to point the problems and be clear enough especially the REBOOT part!

Now, my pals at work can stop slagging me that my iphone is so obsolette that it can’t send MMS. LOL.
