QUOTE(megatron007 @ Aug 6 2009, 07:27 AM) last time i also think like tat cos pakai PS3 (duno should blame the internal decoding SQ or not If you pakai PS3 the sequence will be DTS HD MA / TrueHD ---> PCM ---> AVR ---> PCM. PS3 already converted to PCM before sending to AVR, hence your AVR will show PCM. AVR need not do decoding and will pass through the PCM.but if u bit stim the codec from ur BDP n let ur AVR to decode walala If you pakai BD player set to bitstream then it will be DTS HD MA / TrueHD ---> AVR ---> PCM. If the BD has PCM soundtrack then theoretically PS3 or BD player will be the same since the sequence would be PCM ---> AVR ---> PCM. There is no need for either the PS3/player or AVR to do any decoding. |

Just did a trial shopping cart for the Amazon B2G1 offer. How come the discount didn't come up? The total price stated is for a 3 titles, should be only 2 right?
Note: I was at the last page where I have to click the "Place Your Order" button. |

Yup, not live yet. I went back to the B2G1 page and it says "Come back on August 11th to enjoy this sale." This message was not there yesterday.

Haven't seen it yet though.Added on August 10, 2009, 5:34 pm QUOTE(htkaki @ Aug 10 2009, 05:20 PM) Boss, it's one of my fav animation. The DVD's AQ is already astounding. So, I guess that BD should be jaw-dropping. The BD is indeed excellent. Same class as Kung Fu Panda. This post has been edited by jchong: Aug 10 2009, 05:34 PM |

QUOTE(chewkl @ Aug 11 2009, 03:02 PM) DEMMIT!!! Yeah, those bas***ds are tricky aren't they? Please note that the price of Baraka [Blu-ray] has increased from $13.49 to $18.49 since you placed it in your Shopping Cart. Items in your cart will always reflect the most recent price displayed on their product detail pages. This is my comparison before and after B2G1 "offer": Quantum of Solace $15.49 vs $20.49 Slumdog Millionaire $13.99 vs $18.99 Troy - The Director's Cut $18.99 vs $23.99 Looks like they increased everything by $5.00. Anyway, the total still cheaper with B2G1: $48.47 vs $44.48 ($3.99 less). Added on August 11, 2009, 3:41 pm QUOTE(chewkl @ Aug 11 2009, 03:21 PM) Eh how come I selected 3 titles but at the final checkout I didn't get any discount? Must be from the B2G1 list. Some of the titles are not from the offer page, must only select from the list or it is acceptable for all titles? QUOTE(arremie @ Aug 14 2009, 05:52 PM) Totally. That's what I remember but Mikey in BD is green with yellowish freckles/spot especially under his belly (mouth?). Go c the BD then u'll know what I meant I watched the BD and yes Mikey does have yellowish freckles/spot. I guess we're seeing a lot more detail with Full HD So its either they digitally remastered him or that's him all this while but its just simply more obvious with BD stunning PQ. |
