hello guys..i'm new in here and newbie for winmo..i just bought winmo mobile phone but the regional seting is set to english(us). so the first 3 phone number will be in bracket like (123)456789 and the message receive time also is not same with the current phone clock. the received time is late about 7-8 hours and i suspect it is caused by the regional seting. anybody knows how to solve this?please help and thanks in advance

*i'm sorry if this issue has been discussed here before. i'm just a newbie.. biggrin.gif

start --> settings --> system tab --> regional settings

as for the telephone for, Windows Mobile use something similar to outlook, thus the (xxx) is for country and area code...i believe it will be the same no matter which region you choose...

You only need to adjust Clock settings to +8GMT (Kuala Lumpur, Singapore), this should fix the sms clock

and by default theres no Malaysia settings in Regional Setting list.

have u setup ur device with network wizard?
it should change the number number to normal like 012345678.
if still not, try search for ur device's ExtROM folder n install the cab files needed.
