You don't seem to have clear idea on how you're going to use your i7. Having an i7 doesn't require you to purchase an expensive large casing, but you would be dumb to use a small concealed casing for extensive processing.

Using cheap PSU that comes free with a casing for an i7+GTX260 is again a silly thing to do. It's a bad idea. I assume i7 users are power users, not just people who chat in MSN and surf yahoo.com. Using an underpowered PSU will risk stability and possibly shorten the lifespan of the PSU itself and the entire computer.

p.s. Core i7 NOT i-core7

tumpang thread can ah?? i am currently using normal casing.. i have a cm v8 on my rig, and it doesnt fit if the casing is closed.... my target is to get a CM 690??? is it ok??
*
i used cm690 once b4......oso v8.. ( but no i7 lor )
its a worthy investment plus the airflow is good.....cm690 can put v8 perfectly in its stomach.....
so go for it....huhuhuhu

*make sure u used all fans & make a good cable management....

A lot of people like to save money on the PSU and casing, but please don't. They are just as important as any other computer parts, so it's worth to pay good money for good casing and PSU. Some people here already point out why.
