I'm sure the money had nothing to do with Benzema wanting to join the fascist pricks. It was all about the 'dream'. What a nice chap Benzema is. A role model for us all.
Would be fun seeing Real Madrid making all these so call investment and still winning feck all next season. I guess I'm an unofficial Barca fan now. The lesser of 2 evils. |

Can we move on and tell Ronaldo to feck off now. Je turned his back on us, joined the fascist pricks, so I wish him nothing but failure in his upcoming career. Real ending up with feck all would be funny....and well fun.

QUOTE(Hevrn @ Jul 9 2009, 11:13 AM) You need to lurk around the United forums more often. Lots of ppl have never forgiven Ronaldo for flirting with Madrid the summer before this, taking away the gloss of our double. I understand though that being a boy born in that part of Europe where Real Madrid is pretty much the club everyone dreams of playing for due to their rich history, he couldn't pass away an opportunity to play for them. Congrats to him on getting his wish then. Djemba-Djemba who was ROnaldo's best friend when he was here has been quoted as saying that ROnaldo was more of a fan of Barca then he was at Real back then. So I don't really buy all this childhood club bullcrap. Paddy Crerand has also said that ROnaldo was a childhod fan of Benfica. Prety sure that 225k per week he's getting there had nothing to do with it ehh?? What with the possibility of it rising to 550k per week at the end of his contract.I don't think I can bring myself to wish him and Madrid well though. The only club I genuinely do hope do well is Manchester United, and I'm not tied down to any player more than I am to my club. However, like many I will be tracking his and their progress, like I did with Beckham who was the first player I ever admired and wanted to be like during my younger days. ROnaldo and Madrid are made for each other. 2 circus. DOn't think we would fill half of Old Trafford even if we bring The King back and 80k fans turned up to see him wave and juggle the ball a bit. Like I said, a circus. Our fans would rather turn up for games rather than a flashy presentation. A circus, fits like a glove the both of them. All the better to see them flop. Wish him well at Madrid?? Feck off, the higlight would see this new set pf Galacticos crash and burn. |

QUOTE(Hevrn @ Jul 14 2009, 04:54 PM) You can refer to Youtube for how the chants go, but here are a few to kick things off. Do tell if I've got any of them wrong. Most of them come from having to listen thru the loud crowd during games via the tele. Take Me Home United Road is very rarely sung in the stands. You're better off going with The Pride Of Europe or player songs i.e. Ole's song for instance. It's more commonly sung.United Calypso Oh Manchester, Manchester United, A bunch of bouncing Busby Babes, they deserve to be knighted When they're playing in your town, get yourself to that football ground, Take a look and you will see, Football taught by Matt Busby Take Me Home United Road Take Me Home United Road, to the place I belong, To Old Trafford, To see United, Take Me Home United Road U-N-I-T-E-D U-N-I, T-E-D, United are the team for me, With a knick knack, paddy whack, Give a dog a bone, Why don't City f*ck off home Get this three going, along with Glory Glory. For the experts, we can throw in a few player ones. White Pele, Anderson-son-son, Paul Scholes he score goals, Keane and his magic hat etc etc. |

QUOTE(Hevrn @ Jul 14 2009, 05:46 PM) Yeah, but prob thought it'd be apt since its probably the 2nd most recognisable song after Glory Glory. Ole's song would be mint if he's making the trip as well. Recognizable, but not usually sung. Ole's is one of the few favourite exceptions. Still continually being sung despite no longer playing. Like Eric's.I'd go with Giggsy's, Neville's, Wazza's Park's or Vida's. It's more commonly sung nowadays. Hell, the only time I heard Take Me Home United Road last season was during the trophy celebrations and even then that was sung cause it was being played out on the PA system. |
