QUOTE "You cannot argue with Alex Ferguson," he said. "He is like the president of England. It is impossible. You always lose. But he made a mistake to leave me on the bench. That was the only final the team had lost since I had been at Manchester United."
Tevez has no regrets at rejecting the chance to extend his two-year stay at Old Trafford. "My family knows how much I suffered at United. I could not arrive home after a match or a training session and forget my pain. It was not good and I transmitted all my sadness to them." SourceCan't he just shut up? Or, he is trying to win City fans now.

Just re-sign Ruud and wait for Macheda and Welbeck to mature lah. Wait, we do have Manucho, don't we?

He is free what. There are not many strikers out there who are available and want to come to us. So, I think this Owen deal is worth the risk. It could turn out to be a masterstroke or a toy for the nurses. But, what we need is a third striker anyway. I am happy for Macheda and Welbeck. They will get to play more. Manucho too, may be I am happy for the nurses too. Hope they will not disturb Hargreaves, Gary, Brown and Foster anymore.

QUOTE(Wan @ Jul 3 2009, 01:29 PM) Added on July 3, 2009, 1:45 pmWhat the hell happened to Redcafe? Don't tell me they're mourning the loss of Benzema? It was still alright after the Benzema news. I guess they can't take it when Owen news broke out.

Exclusive: Wayne Rooney hospitalised after slipping on yacht on holiday QUOTE The player ended up in hospital after bashing his bonce when he slipped on his holiday yacht yesterday.
Doctors feared Manchester United star Roo, 23, may have suffered concussion so they kept him in for two and a half hours.
Pregnant wife Coleen, also 23, took him to a clinic in St Tropez after he tumbled over on deck.
An insider said: “He cut his head and everyone was worried he may have concussion so he was taken for a check-up.
“Wayne might have looked like he was trying to keep a low profile by wearing a cap and hoodie but he was probably trying to hide his cut.”
As he waited for doctors to treat him, Rooney was spotted popping out of the clinic to make phone calls. He also chewed his nails anxiously.
The insider added: “He was presumably phoning family in England to keep them informed.
“Obviously, it’s easy to jump to conclusions that the hospital visit was about Coleen and her pregnancy but she was there to give him moral support.”
Rooney was finally allowed out of the clinic when doctors were satisfied there was no serious damage.
Wayne and Coleen, who is due to give birth in October, have chartered the luxury yacht for a holiday in the South of France.
Seems Roo hasn’t quite found his feet when it comes to this sailing lark, though. SourceHe must have heard about Owen signing.

Owen - Tevez comparison http://extras.timesonline.co.uk/sport/owenvtevez.pdfOwen has better accuracy but Tevez got more assists and passes. Owen is just what we need IMO. A poacher. We have enough of passers / creators. We need someone to get the goals.

QUOTE(kobe8byrant @ Jul 6 2009, 11:11 AM) I actually would like Vieira to be in our squad. He's available for a knock down fee (less than a million), though he's old but we'll only need him this season as we get Hargreaves back to full speed. Will be an inspired buy if you asked me. Gary will scare him away.

QUOTE(driftmeister @ Jul 8 2009, 11:23 PM) 1st Choice: Barbietov + Roon Rotates: Owen Backup: Macheda + Welback + Brandy not enough ker? Unless Huntelaar willing to sit on the bench with Owen (but i doubt so) Pool only got Torres, Kuyt & Ngog only Kesian sheep. You rather put Brandy there than Manucho.
