the signing make sense, as fergie wont sign a big star striker as he already got rooney-berbatov. there are no such thing as rotation for the star players as fergie is not playing FM ... they will become the next tevez. thats why united glad to have ole as a super sub, willing to sit on the bench and wait for chances ...
owen will be fergie 3rd choice striker after rooney and berbatov ... still wellbeck/macheda is too lightweight to become 4th striker ... |

QUOTE(sunnyK @ Jul 3 2009, 04:38 PM) OMG , instead of signing a creative midfielder , here come another injury prone player who may spend more time at surgery room rather than the pitch. which creative midfielder you can recommend to fergie ?maybe owen will teach the young players a thing or two about horse racing and gambling. but at 50% discount with short-term contract , some may say its a low risk signing with next season being a world cup year , lets hope owen will have the needed ambition to be more committed. but i still believe the legs or rather the pace which is what made michael owen , are not there anymore but 80 million BP minus 2 million BP (per annum ), who cares instead of fighting or bidding for higher prices on reputable and high profile players , we are picking up fire sale products if he's fit enough for united , lets give him a chance afterall , his sale brochure mentioned he's the second most famous english player top clubs need min 4 establish strikers to compete for all the cups ... united currently only has 2 who are rooney and berbatov, and you rely on wellbeck, manucho a confirm flop and macheda for the matches after UCL ??? martins of NU ? he is not that good and can't save NU from relegation ... else inter wont sell him to NU ... |
