No choice lar bro...budget case with gd air flow..
my first choice was ATCS 840 but the price really killing me..no choice to choose 932  tongue.gif

HAF932 is a good case anyway, other than collecting more dust inside the case i don't think there's another negative on 'em. A good value case to date... biggrin.gif

Actually ATCS 840 is really a value aluminium casing, it does not look expensive to me as you can tell by looking all the details and specification, for example, removable motherboard tray, full aluminium, able to put 2 power supply, it is big enough to put even the longest graphic card ever etc.

If you try to compare the specification on other branded full aluminium casing, you wouldn't get this kind of price like cooler master.  thumbup.gif

i agree with you... full aluminum casing with the price tag of ATCS 840 is quite cheap. The removable mobo tray is a plus that left others like Cosmos series case in the CM league. It's a classic case and with a solid build on it. biggrin.gif

The slack part of ATCS 840 is the alu is quite thin..but the price is consider cheap against those giant lian li..
*
thin is not a problem since the build is good enough for me. Remember the basic word "what you pay is what you get..." laugh.gif

right, i'm also wondering, why my scout LED fans are a bit dim and low speed...
are these low quality fans?
if replace with high cfm LED fans, can the speed and lights be controlled too?
*
yeah can. sunbeam or deepcool rockman fan controller can do the job to control both the light and fan for you. smile.gif

long time no reply here d
1st of all. the scratch logo look nicer to me but. they are the same la when i comes to build quality and sort. the scratch like make the logo look more fierce.

and about the fan LED. i had CM led fan the 40cfm ones. YES the LED will glow when u spin the blade fast without pluging it in. i always play with it when i clean it with vacuum cleaner BUT i dun think when u plug the fan in any power source let it be mobo or molex will effect the lighting power. coz i personally tested... as long as there are power source the LED with light up 1st even b4 the fan start to spin up to speed.
u guys can do a touch test as in touching and removing the 3 pin connector to the header of mobo or molex conversion continuously. the LED will light up b4 the fan would spin into speed.
my threory is the power runs through the LED 1st then only to the center of the fan.
easier way to test this is fan controller. those with turning knobs. plug the fan in and control the fan speed up and down and see if u can spot the difference.
the most easiest test is this. stop the fan with ur finger when it's plug in and power up. the LED will still stay lid.

just my berapa puluh cents~
*
yeah you're right... i have done the same theory and practically like what u did.. it's easier to reckon the speed and the light don't mix.. except by let the fan controller control over it we can see the light bright and dim some more. what i did is turn off the control knob and raise it to 10 or 15 degree, i can see the fan is not running but the LED is light up there. But there will be a sound of the warning beep since the fan is not running.. hahahaha... smile.gif

lol the motherboard panic attact xD
or izzit ur fan controller got alarm lol
*
haahahhaa it's not a mobo thing bro... actually it's the fan controller itself got alarm. I'm using the scythe kazemaster ace fan controller. if the fan stop function while you play the turning knob there, suddenly you'll heard the alarm sound beeping until you gonna mute it or restore back the fan to working... biggrin.gif
