Hi guys...

Im a newbie who just got my hands on a A200 last friday....haha

omg....so many stuffs to learn....lols...

i'm just wondering....i like taking sceneries and macros...any suggestion on wat lens should i get? just one lens....i heard tele lens could take macro as well, just not ad good as 1:1 macro lens rite?
*
hey andy, i'm a a200 user myself... i think u should go for the twin lens kit... also... the 75-300mm will be good for ur macro shots... just make sure you get a Raynox DCR-250 Macro converter to get them damnkauchun bugshots! biggrin.gif....

and yea andy... if you like macro... ur gonna need a flash gun for really good results... if ya got the cash get yaself a HVL-F58AM! after that you're ready for any indoor and low light situations... wink.gif

sony styles? huhu...sure no discount & freebies one...
any other shop? other than sony styles laa...

KK already got a330 ka? i read on previous post in this thread...KK dont have a330... sad.gif

IMHO, the a330 seriously has more turnoffs than turnons... saw one a few days back, looking at the grip already made me love my a200 so much more... if it was me, I'd get a a200/300 then get the new 18-55mm SAM lens for a kit lens... nice combo to start with...

yeap... ok la... i dunno but i think the A330 is for those who wants a DSLR but wants it small.... if so, go Olympus la! or Lumix! but why Sony!? why come up wit something like this!? because they can! not only it's small, but it's cheaper than competitors when it comes to smaller DSLRs.... this is definitely one for them gals on Tuesday night outs! the self timer for 5x continuous shots is proof!

One girl from one of the previous TTs said to me in a private message that she preferred the grip of the A330. To each his or her own, I guess.

But yes, 5 shots after a 10 second timer is an amazing feature for the camwhore in you (or them).

noprob: Love the colors! Cropping off a bit off the right might help.

alpha_company: The A900 has a top LCD screen while all other Alphas do not. However I don't use the top screen at all since it is of no use in portrait mode or in the dark (I'd rather look at the settings in the viewfinder, and the screen is still visible in strong sunlight.)

I think you should know whether a top screen is necessary coming from your D60 with the eye-sensor and auto reorient LCD in portrait mode. (Which was copied from Sony, and this feature first appeared in Minolta film SLRs.)
*
yeah.. to be honest i dont use it at all..even tried my friend's d90 and d80.. heard that some outdoor pros that needs to shoot in the dark without the blinding lcd turning on to see their settings needs lcd on top.. read about it somewhere..

alpha_company: I just press DISP to disable the rear LCD if I need to shoot without emitting any light. Can still see the settings in the viewfinder - every external button you press on the A700 (WB/DRIVE/ISO/EV/AEL), will show in the viewfinder so you can change settings inside without looking at the rear LCD.

For example, DRIVE mode 5 FPS is indicated by "oooH" while DRIVE mode Remote shows "rmt" in the viewfinder. Bracketing modes, Kelvin WB settings, are all shown inside.

The A200/A300/A350 also shows ISO and DRIVE as they are external buttons. For the A330 when you change FLASH mode it also shows in the viewfinder (a new addition.)
