Iafm is factory defect or design flaw. Its mechanical. Inside there is a plunger or valve, too much free play cause the annoying sound.

New one should be a modified version, they just make the valve shorter less free play.

Hmm, some technical question here.

1. Based on the gear ration calculator, i noticed that at the same speed auto transmission rev lower than manual, is it true? Usually the auto car rev higher than manual in the same speed, no?

2. M-line tyre is 185/60R14, B-line is 175/70R 13, the difference only the width and rim size rite? How about the diameter of the tyre?

Hope someone can give an answer, thank you..
*
Yeah you are correct, proton source the manual gearbox from nissan because they can choose the gear ratio to suit the power band of the car where as Mitsubishi is for the auto gearbox which does not offer that kind of flexibility. I think the auto gearbox is meant for a more powerful car coz the ratio is too long compare to the manual which the ratio is so short.

I already took out my module coz recently i changed my alarm which comes with autolock. My module still up for sales. That time bought at Rm80 installation FOC. Try caltex,i experience good engine response. Btw b1n1, dont install mini turbo you will screw up the iafm and ecu reading. Nway introducing extra air into the intake will be compensated by the map and o2sensor when the ecu goes into close loop. Also the iafm works with manifold pressure if there is an air leak device(mini turbo), the manifold pressure drops and the iafm might switch track earlier than expected.

Changing tyre wont affect warranty. Changing rim also provided you dont use oversized rims, for example 14inch stock to 15inch still ok but once you go 16inch they wont layan you dy coz oversized.
