There is one thing that confuse me for so long already?
Actually what is the different between US Marines and US Army? The one we play in Call Of Duty 4 is US Marines. Then how about in the one we play in Ghost Recon Advance Warfighter?Are they US Marines just like in Call Of Duty 4? Then how about that one is Socom and HAWX?? Then how about that one we saw in movie Black Hawk Down? Why the military in US is so complicated?What is their purpose that they got so many types of soldier?Are they different or what?  |

Err it's not complicated. Look at the meaning of Marines and Army.
Amry = foot, ground soldiers. Marines = Soldiers usually in the sea, but sometimes also mistaken for NAVY Seals. Which is not. Marines do go on land too however. COD4 = US Army. GRAW = US ARMY. SOCOM = IINM, there are both Marines and Army in the game. I'm not sure, I don't play SOCOM. HAWX = Completely different. They're US Airforce Fighters. Never watched Black Hawk Down, so I don't know about that one. |

Marines are troops connected with the Navy, traditonally they have been the vanguard of invasion forces and usually stationed and deployed off boats. The Army fight the same wars but more often then not they fight the same wars as their Marine Counterparts. Black Hawk Down contained both Marines and Army troops and SOCOM is a combination of all 3 this happens in coordinated attacks... |
