Here's a thread dedicated to discussion about Meg Cabot and her books.

QUOTE
Meg Cabot (born Meggin Patricia Cabot on February 1, 1967 in Bloomington, Indiana, United States) is an American chick-lit author of romantic comedies for teens and adults. She has written under the name Meggin Cabot, as well as the pseudonyms Patricia Cabot and Jenny Carroll. She has written and published over fifty books, and is best known for The Princess Diaries, later made by Walt Disney Pictures into two feature films of the same name. Cabot has more than fifteen million copies of her books — children's, young adult, and adult — in print worldwide. Her website averages about 80,000 unique visitors a month.

After graduating from the university, Cabot moved to New York City, with the original aim of pursuing a career as an illustrator. However, she soon quit this job and started working as an assistant manager of the freshman dormitory at New York University. This new job gave her more time to work on her writings.

Meg Cabot married financial writer and poet Benjamin D. Egnatz on April 1, 1993. Their wedding date, April Fool’s Day, was a deliberate play on her husband's belief that only fools get married in the first place. The wedding was actually an elopement in Italy. Her novel Every Boy's Got One is loosely based on her own elopement. She has two cats, Henrietta (a one eyed cat) and Gem, about whom she often blogs.

After living in Indiana, California, New York, and France, she now currently resides in Key West, Florida. She splits her time between an apartment in New York, New York, and a barn in Bloomington, Indiana.

Meg Cabot is one of my absolute favourite. Her books is funny, well written and entertaining. Even though its chic-lits, I enjoyed them very, very much.

My favourite Meg Cabot books:

Princess Diaries (1-10 ENDED) - Only read up to 8 so far.
The story about a girl who founds out she is really a princess. Nothing related to the God-awful second movie.

The Mediatore (1-6 ENDED) - I HAVE THEM ALL!
My favourite of ALL her books. Buffy meets Ghost Whisperer. Kickass!

Avalon High
Arthurian Legend rediscovered!

All American Girl
How saving a president's life change a teenage girl's life.

How to Be Popular
Geek Girl find Popular book and use it as a guide.

Heather Wells series
Slightly overweight girl who works in a college who also solves murder mystery.

Her blog
Yes. Her blog. I liked how she writes so much that even her blog are that entertaining.

I've read Queen of Babble and I like her writing style. Anymore recommendation of that kind from her? I don't want something too high school-ish. tongue.gif

I'm not nuts about her, but I've read Confessions of a Shopaholic. Can't say it's a book I would read again.

Erm...that's written by Sophie Kinsella, not Meg Cabot. blush.gif
