and got one question. is it safe to terminate all processes? as in the one that has * in front of them like *messaging, *calender. etc etc

depends how you terminate it...
if you close those apps normally using options - exit then its fine....
normally the phone will have 2 apps running namely home and menu... the rest are just draining battery if left in the background...

Okayz guys. I have something to share it out here. I just bought 2 Blue tubes just now and applied one kind of the NsiX SP on each. I have to be very honest about this and I hope the buyers will be honest to me as well

Both kind of SP also very "fit" towards Nokia 5800. How would I define "fit"? It is like it almost cover the whole screen of Nokia 5800 except the front camera part. It is very good for a SP, but bear in mind that it do need some "skill" to apply it nicely "fit" on it. I managed, it is real no easy

It is a bit disappointing towards the CLEAR SP which featuring oil-resistant. It seems like the "oil" meant to be solid oil instead of finger and face oil etc. It's crystal clear, but yet the finger and face oil problem kept annoying. I believe the only 3 buyers of CLEAR will be preferring MATT now instead. But I really hope you all could take it from me otherwise I really have no idea what to do with it . Please PM me regarding it if you prefer getting MATT along, I might have something for ya

As for the MATT SP, this is a real great deal. It is the same "fit" like CLEAR, but I'm not getting any finger-print nor any oil on it . Clarity wise? I would says it is damn clear enough as it is not that glossy or roughly surface yet being able to anti-finger print / finger oil / face oil

Added on July 21, 2009, 8:46 amI believe the AGPS only retrieves the satellite positions from supl.nokia.com so you don't have to wait for your phone to locate them. Locking on is the same with or without AGPS. But maybe I'm wrong

gps + agps = faster lock
agps without gps = No signal
gps only = slow but free
a-gps only = no signal

Some questions for you guys:

1) Where to get the CA-44 charger adaptor to use old chargers? Even e_trade_pj also not selling...
2) If I use an old Nokia charger, will it harm my 5800 battery? Old charger output is 500mA, while the 5800 charger is 890mA.
3) When typing in a Note, how to discard changes and not save it?
4) Anywhere to see and remove the custom words we've entered into the phone language dictionary? My old SE could do this.
5) When typing with Prediction on, the asterisk key scrolls Next options for possible words. How do I scroll Previous words?
6) Search function - it fails to search some of my Notes. For example, I have a Note called Shopping List. If I search for Shopping, it doesn't return results. I search for other words, it can successfully find the related SMS and Notes. Why?
7) Anybody experienced sporadic strong haptic feedback? I poke around the phone with the stylus, my vibrate set to level 1, sometimes it will feel strong like level 3 (just once), then normal again at level 1.

BTW, someone in a previous post said Handbrake can include subtitles in external files, actually it cannot. According to Handbrake guide, "HandBrake can only read subtitles from DVDs. It cannot work with subtitles when reading other files. "

2) u need a longer time to charging up ur 1350mAh battery by using 500mA charger..but if de charger dun hav onboard chip..overcharge might occur and spoil ur battey...correct me if im wrong..

er someone help me... Can i set my opera mini online using wlan? I thought i was online using wlan jz now while checking some stuff using opera mini.. But after that i check my log i used maxis 3g to online.. About 5mb. Damn exp. Now i'm using my tube from wlan to post this message
