yes,just exactly what i thought..when we're operating the memory card then all application related to it will stop..i just panicked back then and without hesitating posted my problem..
one more problem is i cant press the 2 buttons at the home screen which is the contacts list button and the button to dial a number..nothing happens when i touch it..what is the problem?

memory card class have no relation with your problem
memory card class only determine the data transfer rate

as I know those files is in phone memory so it totally have nothing to do with memory card

Access your memory card using the USB mode, check if there's a single huge .dat file or not. If it exist, then you can say that your memory card corrupted. Happened to my GF's 5800XM that came with class 2 memory card. This is the infamous problem 5800 has with class 2 from what I've heard. My own unit came with class 2 memory card but then so far corruption has not happened yet *touch wood*

i think u need to press and hold # until the letters gone and only number left. then try again. i dunno.

That you will have to cosult the rest, cause my GF's unit also same thing but luckily the stuffs inside she got back up before. But kinda stupid la if it keeps happening, but so far hers happened once and I formatted the card for her it didn't happen yet.

I think if you see the .dat file, maybe you can visit NCC and see if they can do anything about it? If you google around that appears to be the memory card corruption problem that 5800 has with C2 memory card.

Hi guys, davidlian probably spoke about the proposed meetup on July 18.

I'm his colleaguelah and also a RED 5800XM user.

We're proposing MidValley Mega Mall for the meetup. What say you guys?

Why Midvalley:

1. Parking not too expensive
2. Accessible via car and public transport
3. Easier place to gather
4. After the meetup can go watch movies/shop/run errands.

Of all the locations in KL, this is the most central and convenient for most people.

Thoughts?

i think midvalley is the worse place to go on a weekend. The crowd firstly is ridiculous there.

My opinion suggest why not sunway pyramid.

access really by public transport like RAPID PUTRA.
External & Internal Parking

Weekend rates in shopping centre RM3 for first 4hrs then Rm1 after tat max 8 hrs
Weekend rate outside parking RM2 per entry all day

Easier to gather as well like the last meet up

i'm browsing wit de phone default browser but sometimes de page fail to load n sometimes it will auto exit when i input long messages.

i bought the case for 25 bucks + SP(normal) is 15 bucks..all together 40 bucks
