Looks like they really 'active' now on sending 'warning letter' to get back the money.. So many people who never get any letter are getting it now, demanding payment

QUOTE(13th @ Feb 9 2016, 05:33 PM) Hello. I have a few question I don't think can extend the "pembiayaan" But first, below are the basic info to my question I am following a 8 Semester degree / = Receive PTPTN fund x = No PTPTN Semester 1 / Semester 2 / Semester 3 x Semester 4 / Semester 5 x Semester 6 / Semester 7 / Semester 8 / Per my contract, I should have received PTPTN funds for 8 semester, but currently I am receiving only 6/8 Semester funding, I am at Semester 8 currently, and will be extending to the 9th Semester. So what should I do? Can I extend my "pembiayaan" because theoretically I didn't claim that 2 semester because of low GPA? Thank you. I'll be waiting for reply best is to call PTPTN office & get more accurate info/answer |

Bcoz I remembered about it just today, I went to check PTPTN website and it says 'Tamat Pembiayaan'. What. Attached is printscreen of the problem. Any one have any idea whats going on? means NO more money from PTPTN to you |

QUOTE(DriksoN @ Mar 17 2016, 01:36 AM) Something is wrong with my PTPTN. I graduated officially on August 2014 (based on my certificate). By right, I should only start paying 6 months after which is supposed to be February 2015. well u can nego with them. try asking them But today, I was told by banker that my CCRIS shows that I did not pay for 25 months. I went to check my PTPTN statement online and indeed they start charging me since July 2013. How can this be possible? From February 2015 to current date, I have paid around 6 or 7 times. When do they start counting the official date of my pay back? I thought it is supposed to be 6 months after graduation. Can I make a complain to PTPTN about this? My housing loan was rejected by bank due to this reason. I was asked to clear my total outstanding (RM41k) in order to clear it off CCRIS. Any bayaran for tertunggak will not help my case at all according to banker. What other ways can I do now? |

A total of 662,983 borrowers failed to pay back to the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) loans amounting to RM5.4bil as of Dec 31 last year, the Dewan Rakyat was told Wednesday.
The Higher Education Ministry, in a written reply to the house, said another RM2.79 billion was arrears because some of the borrowers repaid in amounts much less than those set by PTPTN. http://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2016...c-31-last-year/ |
