i think, the total loan, 3500 going to be divided to each semester. for example, 3 years duration = 6 semester. 1 semester = 3500/6 semester = 584/semester. somebody correct me if im wrong

erm.. so question to ask.. is the ptptn loadn onli can apply after getting SPM result? or need it apply earlier ??

hey guys I have a few questions about applying for PTPTN as this is my first time..

1. Do I need to have a BSN account in order to get the pin to apply online?

2. While filling up the application form online, there is a section where I have to insert information about my uni course at IPTA. My universiti is UPM and the bank allocated is CIMB (at the bottom of that form there is a section for bank and bank account number). However, I DO NOT have a CIMB account. I don't know why when I registered for my course they did not ask me to apply for an account, so I have been paying my fees through cheque instead of through CIMB. So now, do I have to go to CIMB and apply for a new account so I can put in my account number in the application form, or can I just use another bank account of mine (BSN/Maybank)?

3. If I HAVE to open a CIMB account, what is the account type? Is there a specific account type I have to open for the PTPTN? Or any savings account will do?

Closing date is just around the corner so I would REALLY appreciate quick replies. I tried calling the PTPTN contact number but it seems to be always engaged for some reason.

no u dont need to open bsn acc. juz go bsn, fill a form "deposit" iirc, pay rm5. u can see at their softboard where all the procedures how to fill the form were attached onto it

i dont know how upm woking on with ptptn but, but the best way to find out, u should call upm regarding ptptn matters

its juz the normal type, u juz tell the clerk u want to open a new acc, and he/she may asks u, for what purpose. juz tell him/her for ptptn. dont forget to asks him/her to get u a slip of ur cimb acc for ptptn purpose. im sure him/her will understand it. fyi, cimb need at least rm50 for deposit
