Hey peeps,

I'm currently using a locked Iphone 3g unlocked using a piggysim to enable myself to use the phone in Malaysia. Not too long ago, my hands got alil itchy and I ended up upgrading the v2.2.1 firmware to v3.0, which in turn, hindered the piggysim to function. Am wondering if there's a way for me to downgrade my Iphone back to the previous firmware(v.2.2.1) without causing any damage to the set itself and to further enable the piggysim to work for me?

A simple search with these keywords "downgrading 3.0 to 2.2.1" reveal much info you can use to go about this. Also, this query can be posted at the centralised iPhone Club thread rather than making your own.

The general consensus here abhors hardware-unlock solutions like these because it involved many configuration of different sim-unlocks that may or may not work for the end user, hence why no one solution will work for all.
