QUOTE(shah_ho_nam2 @ Jun 23 2009, 09:23 AM) Helping UK's economy is indeed an excuse. Do UK really depend on football to develop its economy?C'mon face it. EPL is indeed a playground for the riches. Its like their version of FM. Buy all of those foreign talents, and they just don't know how to gel those foreigners into their squad and tactics, since they are very very bad in FM. |

Sulaiman Al Fahim's Portsmouth Takeover To Be Complete In A Fortnight – Report
Portsmouth will finally be under new ownership within two weeks, according to reports... It has been a long and drawn out takeover, with a number of complications and hitches, but there is now light at the end of the tunnel for Portsmouth fans as completion is reportedly two weeks away. According to The Portsmouth News, the takeover will be completed shortly before the Portsmouth Supporters' Club's AGM on July 11. A source close to the prospective owner Sulaiman Al-Fahim told the paper, "He [Al Fahim] will be in London for the few days before then finalising things, and so it makes sense to go to this event and meet the fans." At the event in Waterloo, Al-Fahim will outline his short-term and long-term plans for the club to the fans, giving them an insight into the future manager and some of the players he is interested in bringing in. Vahid Halilhodzic is the latest name to be linked to the club's vacant managerial position. The 56-year-old Bosnian has managed a number of clubs around Europe and Africa, most notably Paris Saint-Germain from 2003-2005. He is currently the manager of the Ivory Coast.
