Sigh.. I'm still deciding on which plan is for the best. Currently I'm on iPhone 3G with DiGi Unlimited Data Plan and according to my Cellular Network Data I only use around 300-400MB each month (is it accurate?).

Thinking of whether to get the 32GB with iValue Plan 1/2 or go the Prepaid Option and stick with my DiGi. Is Maxis 3G speed faster then DiGi EDGE overall?

I am now on 3G with DiGi unlimited data plan. If let say I take the prepaid plan can I later switch to iValue plan if I feel the prepaid is not for me? Or if I choose to take the prepaid then stay with DiGi, can the DiGi carrier setting used for 3G be used on 3G S?

Cause I know the internet tethering is hidden for other networks unless you have the carrier setting which enable it.

I have confirmed my booking as well, 32GB White with prepaid option. I register under DiGi number and they still go through it. Paid the RM200 and got resit in return. They also told me that there is no promise that I can get my phone on the 31/07. Wow.. I actually wanted to cancel my booking and change to black color, glad I cofirmed my previous booking now.

I will be getting my 3GS using the new prepaid number plan. I've went to the Maxis center at Midvalley and asked if I need to get the prepaid SIM first before I get the phone this Friday. They said don't need wor, I can get the prepaid SIM after I get the phone.

Not sure if I heard correctly but I thought we need SIM first so they can actually activate it? (collecting mine at machine)

The number that I used to booked the phone is a DiGi number btw and I told them that too.

Confused. I don't really want when I collect my phone they need the SIM card first... (x__x)

Oh god...I'm not going to use this number that I used to book and I can't change it to maxis either. I thought I have already tick on the option "new number" when I book it. I have already paid the deposit too (>__<). Any advise?

Just back from Machine Garden, those with prepaid plan (new number) they can register the new prepaid number there when you get the phone. You just need to have the booking/maxis confirmation letter and your IC.

Got the same thing from Maxis Garden too. Hmm.. aiks. pray hard. So far no one camp yet lar.. lol.

Just back from Gardens, no stock at Machine yet even on the promotion area it is only for pre-booking only. It seems that they stop taking pre-booking for the hotlink plan due to stock constraint.

I also took a look at the display unit on the promotion area, the yellowish tint looks almost the same as in my 3G.

I thought iPhone is unlocked in Malaysia so there isn't any need to unlock the baseband right? There have been early success on jb 3.0.1 using redsn0w. But I suggest wait a little longer for the update for those who want to jb.

Btw, I'm right in front of machine gardens now waiting to pickup my 32GB white. Seems that the stock arrive yesterday at machine.

Just got my 32Gb white from machine gardens, but it seems they have only less then 10 unit and most of them are 16GB. So better hurry...

My 3G is more yellowish then my 3G S LOL...

The warmer color actually does help when you are under sun. My previous iPod Touch 1G has a blueish tint and when in bright sun it is very hard to see.
So don't worry to much about the tint, human eyes are good at adapting just as long you don't go compare.

Nope not yet, call CS earlier and they said the system has not been updated yet if still no SMS within 24 hours asked me to call them back and they'll have their technician look into it. (=__=)

Lucky prepaid so any accidental data usage will only go as far on how much you reload. For now I think I only upload RM20 each time.. until they confirm the 500MB is activated.

Unfortunately I also did sign up for a hotlink account yesterday but no sms regarding the free 500MB still... (=__=)
Even after email and called up CS about it.
