I would buy the Garmin app-reader as well, but be assured Apple will not publish it on App Store, and Garmin would sue the app writer immediately

@acronyx
Maxis already stated that anyone wanting to receive their iPhone on 31st July needs to pre-order before midnight 24th July ... and they also dun wanna tell us when the following stock will be available... personally, I think I will keep my iPhone 3G for another year... save the cash, and get next year's model. dun feel like spending another 2.5K so fast... |

I want to stress 2 things here.
1 this is my personal opinion not as a Machines staff. 2 whatever I say here is just based on the past few months handling the sales / training / activations on iPhone personally, not as a Machines staff, I have to say I am personally very very disappointed at Maxis handling of iPhone 3G & 3G[S]. I keep getting the impression that Maxis is not interested in providing the best possible experience to iPhone customers. Since they have the opportunity to be the sole distributor / agent / selected carrier then do a professional job. Re: prebooking. If people already PAID pre-booking fee, Maxis would know EXACTLY how many phones to order and send to the respective store. Why Machines has none? Personally, it does look like discrimination. Now, there may be a business case / actual official reason, but its not been communicated to the front-line staff (that's us!) so... how are we supposed to explain to the paying customers? going home now... hope that 32GB can arrive tomorrow morning... otherwise, dunno how to explain to people already... P.S. Any views or opinions presented in this post are solely those of the author and do not represent those of Machines S/B. This post has been edited by xaw5126: Jul 31 2009, 10:40 PM |
