I went to all 3 Machines in Sunway, Gardens and MV - and they are BLUR abt the actual T&Cs.
Ended up making my deposit @ Maxis The Gardens.

Your booking details (collection date/location/plan/model/colour/etc) will be in your email. You are suppose to bring a printout of that email together with your booking slip on that day to get ur iPhones.

QUOTE(janson_kaniaz @ Jul 19 2009, 05:56 PM) i dun think the initial booking details you printed out before paying the RM200 deposit are important. It is the receipt after you have paid RM200 that is important. Your receipt should have the model you want as well as the plan and confirmation of the payment. Those details are good enough for you to collect the iphone on 31st. The receipt we get doesn't show the model/date/plan details anyway. But its important becoz it shows you HAVE paid the non-deposit RM200, thus ensuring you your unit on collection day. Its the email printout that contains all the rest.Check ur receipt and that email to confirm. |

QUOTE(royle @ Jul 20 2009, 08:19 PM) they didnt ask for your ic for verification purpose ? As far as i know, they need ur ic for verification purpose in order to proceed to booking. I did my pre-book @ Maxis, The Gardens. But yes, the lineholder, gotta be present to sign the contract on that day. Maybe they can hold your iPhone for 14days?If that;s the case, i might go and book it myself first then ask my dad to go collect it later. can i know which maxis branch u did your booking ? |

QUOTE(royle @ Jul 20 2009, 08:33 PM) haha... i am sure he wouldnt mind to go maxis centre with me. IINM, yes, since the principle lineholder is the person who is ACTUALLY going to sign and confirm he's going to buy the iPhone. Even the supplementary lineholder can't book the iPhone. It's just that i hope i can make the booking without his actual presence there. dont wanna miss the booking period.. I tried to called maxis cs and the lady said i can always book it online on wed then pay it when my dad is here which is this saturday (25/7). but the f.a.q say all the booking payment has to be made before this friday.... (24/7) double confirm with her and even bring out the f.a.q and she says its okay... Added on July 20, 2009, 8:35 pm how about the pre-book time, does the lineholder has to be present?? Correct if I am wrong. |

QUOTE(LaiN87 @ Jul 20 2009, 08:51 PM) Correct.. I read it somewhere also.. Some terms and conditions.. I would say its is forfeit. And I wanna ask.. After paying your deposit will Maxis send any verification? Email or SMS? I'm supposed to pay before 20/7 (Today) and if they didn't put my deposit into the system means my booking is already forfeited? Well, after booking you will get a SMS with a ref number (lots of numbers). You are suppose to print out the confirmation email to pay for your pre-book. I didnt wait for mine, just go there, showed the ref number and paid on the spot. My %$@#$ email only came out 1 day later and its in my JUNK mail summore. Mine said I can pay anytime before 21/7/2009 (I did my online booking on 19/7/2009. Failure to do so will void your online booking @ www.maxis.com.my. But you can always just walk into any Maxis Centre, use their comp and pre-book and pay on the spot. |

Added on July 20, 2009, 9:18 pm QUOTE(LaiN87 @ Jul 20 2009, 09:14 PM) I got the SMS and the email. I didn't print the email. Just give him the ref num from the SMS. No more after that. Just your printed receipt.I'm just asking. After the SMS and the confirmation email is there any "confirming your deposit" email. And start waiting... QUOTE(royle @ Jul 20 2009, 09:21 PM) but since they didnt actually took ur ic and photocopied it. How do they actually acknowledge that you are the lineholder? Maybe i can pay on behalf my dad first ? and have him to be present only when the collection period? Do u think it is possible ? Sorry mate, I meant they took my IC but didnt photocopy that. Since I also gave my ref number they can see my IC/phone number to do a quick verification.Perhaps you can just get your dad to call up a Maxis centre of your choice and get them to process over the phone while you are there with the money. This is certainly something unexpected |

Just got off from 123 with a CS...
Apparent, even Maxis staff who booked also have some delayed deliveries for themselves. Even if there are delays, they mentioned it SHOULD be within 1-2 days, so no biggie. All this is in relation to my case, which I booked as Maxis Centre, The Gardens. So if you DON"T get that SMS regarding any delays then you can go and collect from your selected time. |

QUOTE(nokia2003 @ Jul 30 2009, 09:59 PM) i think "it turned normal" because your eyes got used to it. Looks that way b'coz of the anti-oil/finger print new filming on the screen. Its just fine.because when i was comparing my previous 3G and 3G S, i noticed a warmer colour as well, but after a while, i felt like i was acclimatised with my 3G S (confusing it with my 3G) |

QUOTE(nokia2003 @ Jul 30 2009, 10:26 PM) huh? that's just plain nonsensical. I am not refer to THAT kind of tint that you had in mind. That will be definitely a defect. But I am refering to the 'difference' in the colour temperature.that yellow-ish tint occurred way back since the 3G era. i also forgot to mention that, my flatmate's 16GB 3G S (which obviously has that so called layer as well) doesn't pose such a problem. Please read this review and cut out with the 'nonsensical' comments. Unless you are claiming to be the resident expert in all things iPhone. http://gizmodo.com/5293388/iphone-3gs-review/ Slight 'tint' on new iPhone 3GS » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « And besides, this is off-topic on registrations, bookings n collections.
