well i going to pay my deposit tmr at Maxis Center KLCC...

originally i planned to choose collect at Machines, but thinking i might need some adjustment on the plan so book at Maxis Center

when i book i forgot that 31st was Friday, and i have to work tat day.... tmr when go pay my deposit i will try ask to change my collection date to 1st August....

anyone did the same thing like me?

well i paid my deposit, and they print the payment receipt and staple together with the confirmation email...

i ask the lady there can i change my booking date to from 31st July to 1 August, she said u can come collect on 1st Aug but u cannot booked to collect on 1st Aug and want to change to 31 July... u can only collect on the date u selected or within 14 days after the selected date, but u cannot collect earlier than the date u selected...

if they really facing short on stock, then didnt they stop the booking... it did mention while stock last

if they really cant get enough of stock, and keep letting ppl book their iPhone, they seriously going to have a lot of trouble now...

new plan? i hope that a nicer plan that came with data and SMS

i not an insider so i not sure how the much stock there is... but i trying to point out that IF Maxis really do so, they will get things more messy, and have more complaints on them, ppl will react like "No Next Time", they loose some trust from their customer...

now i have another question regarding activation... so if they activate ur iphone on the spot... and then when u go home, do u need to restore it again? especially for case of Mac user, as we know for Mac user the iPhone or iPod will use HFS+ file system, restore is definitely needed for it to sync with Mac.

as i only use iPod before, not iPhone, so i not sure bout the scenario here... anyone care to clarify?

is it? i only played with iPhone, never actually get my hands on to do every test... i thought that iPhone file system was following the platform that restore it, like iPod, if Windows it will be formated with FAT, and on Mac it will be formated with HFS+...

hmm i guess if activated on Windows and able to sync with Mac and vice versa, then it will be due the iPhone OS itself able to support both platform syncing...

@tinker i am suppose to collect on 31st, but due to some matter i cant so i have to collect on 1st Aug... hope tat this matters doesnt cause any "jam" to others

well my Hotlink converted to Youth Club plan... and keeping my existing number... even if new plans does come out i will stick to my Hotlink now... cheaper calls and sms... just that data are not cheap...

and as Maxis staff (the one 1 asked) also said...u still can change ur plan during the day u collect ur phone, so even Maxis does launch a new plan before 31st, they still can change the plan during the collection date... but if Maxis launch after 31st... i guessing there might be some uproar..

anyway my Best Skin Ever arrived... Woo-Hoo... all left is 5 more days for the phone...

those with hairline crack normally appear on white right?

i tot the yellowish screen was due the the color temperature...

the "new" and "old" are compared by the manufacturing week i think... all Apple devices serial number can show in what week of the year is it made...

the website just posted (as said) can determine ur product details... i not sure since i didnt try it...

got my iPhone today... based on the serial number it was from factory 85, week 27, no yellowish (as compared to those posted in the previous post) when full brightness, while on 50% it looks warm, but it was around the same looks as my iMac, so i assume that it was the way Apple wanted it to be...

when i got to Maxis Centre KLCC their system was down... so they do it manually... and i can still get my iPhone 16GB...
