same problem here. I booked my i32G Balck at Maxis Center Ampang Point and, suppose to get mine tomorrow. After reading all these thread in this forum, I made a call just now to check if they have the stock so that i can go collect tomorrow morning. That guy in the phone told me they only have 20 out of the 40 that is in the pre booking list. My phone will be the second batch. Now i just have to cross my finger that the restocking is now...or tomorrow morning... *sigh

I had downloaded many apps and can't wait to try them on the weekend..Guess now all i can do is wait. Disappointed on the Maxis service.. First, making all these plans to suck our money ... can't they be a bit more generous.. I got the idata2 - might consider idata 3 so that have more data to use just in case they suck another RM250 per month from me, if i am not careful with my 3g usage.. what do you guys recon?

btw, thank you to all the forum in lowyat.net which provides all the answers i need to know regarding this new toy.. which i am going to get..hopefully soon..

i still havn't got my 32g black.. cry.gif they guy at Maxis Ampang Point said they will arrange the orders and call me by next week.. damn! I booked and paid on the 22 july and supposed to pick it up this morning..

Are you booked at maxis Ampang Point as well?

It is very wired that they ask me to bring my ic together with any of the two below: passport, driving license, payslip for pass to months to pick up the phone, am i registering insurance or credit card?!! Not that i want to cheat and can;t pay the money.. I ask why do they need it and they say maxis ask them to get it? I kept wondering why they need them. It is stated in the Maxis websites-- just bring your IC, and the confirmation email.

aisk.. mad.gif i pay my booking at 27 july. called them, Maxis Center Ampang Point just now and they say i will have to wait another week or so to get the phone.. they said those that booked on july will have the first priority for the 2nd batch of stock and those who booked on the august will have to wait probably after 26 August.

i wonder how can we write a complain to maxis so that they really look into their customer service and how they arrange and plan these launches..

- such as last minute changes and keep on changing all the term and rules..
- on launch day suddenly change iValue plan.. add sms and free calls to family which make ppl getting even more confuse with which plan to choose
- allow pre booking and didn't really keep track on the number of units to distribute to the outlets..
- hotlink users aren't able to book after launch date .. all these are not properly stated in the website.. should put "for limited time only"..

I dun really blame them, just hope that improve the way they handle the issue.. I am fine with the waiting. but just that in term of organization.. if don't have so many stock, then should control the booking or inform us before hand that there will be restock on certain date, so that we don't run around like crazy ppl, or keep on waiting for them to call. ( as i didn't receive any call or email or sms..)

It's more like the promises made by maxis and then did not honour it. Worst is when they collect a NON-refundable deposit promising we will SURE get it when it arrive. This is very unethical thing to do. If they can't deliver what they promised, they shouldn't have collected deposit.

True... in the booking email. they ask us to pay the Rm200 deposit and if don;t collect it within 14 days from the collection date then the Rm 200 deposit will be burn. So if 18 August or 20th (after the custom checks and so forth) it will be more than 14 days d.. they should give us some free gift drool.gif or something for unable to deliver what is promise.. then this is fair..
