As for the "Taunt" from pre purchase...it doesn't act like the legionaire's taunt, It just make your hero bcome visible for a few secs and within that few secs whoever you taunted can see where you are on map.

The guys who have pre ordered and done this a few times can explain bttr than I can.

Also....Dota was started by Icefrog.....who says its not ? If he wasn't the guy who started it....why did S2 games bother asking him for permission to design this game...

dota wasnt started by icefrog. if ur bothered to check, there's some old, primitive versions of dota which share the same name and game concept.

AFAIK, dota allstars (the most famous version) was started by Guinsoo, then the legacy continued by Icefrog.

as for the typical why buy this game when there's a free one: -
- better game engine
- better netcode
- better GUI, better interface
- better community tools
- better community (since its not free u dun get cheapskate retards who could abuse infinite accounts leaving/ vulgarity/ etc)

According to Wiki, the game was started by EUL then the ALLSTARS version was created by Guinsoo before being passed on to ICEFROG.

The reason why S2 asked icefrog permission is because icefrog is the current designer and upgrader for the map. The other 2 don't count because they have "technically" retired and given up on the game and started their own projects. And yes, i will pay my USD 30. =)

Basically USD 30 x 3.5 = RM105 like a filter that filters out immature people and idiots like ahbengs and dotards

This filter doesn't seem to apply to westerners though

Also 30$us isn't alot of money......if you work....have a job that pays atlest 10 rm a day. you can have this game in a week or more. Sigh like we said earlier.....LUCKY for us theres a 30$ price tag. it might actually filter out these people.
