Indeed, sometimes the gelatin comes from pig source, which is forbidden for Muslims to consume. There are chocolates that have gelatin in it, usually those which are chewy. If not mistaken, the gelatin gives the chocolate the chewy texture. ~Checking the ingredients could ascertain the halal of the chocolates, but it is easier to look for circle which certified that the chocolate is halal
