No probs with the engine oil.Go for it.

Advise:
Beware of hitting bump on high speed!Because the oil pan for Gen 2 is located very low.I cracked my oil pan just after 2 months bought the car.RM480 fly d.new oil pan+engine oil+new filter+workmanship.Bardhal full syn gone and the mech said petro canada good and he poured that oil.Feeling abit heavier with petro canada. rclxub.gif

my gen2 got so many problems recently..

1. the L/100km will keep increasing by 0.1 in every few seconds when the car stops.. it will decrease again when the car start moving..
2. the alarm will automatically lock when i get in the car.. i have to "unlock" it then only start...
3. when i start my car, the "du" sound when u lock your car can be heard... but the car still can start..
4. right after i start my car, the aircond will run for a few seconds then stop, note: i havent switch on yet..

seems like all also electrical problem... any "sifu" here knows wats the problem? around how much will it be to repair?

Slmt mlm kwn2..

I'm considering to change my tyres.

Current: 205/45/17 with standard absorber/spring.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Saw our sifoo shazmn recommendation to use 205/40/17. Considering his reckon since current profile quit heavy for my auto gen2 smile.gif
But as i'm using stock suspension, agak2 gap beso sgt tak? Anyone want to sell their adjustable ?  tongue.gif

P/s: another thing under my consideration : downgrade to 16".
*
Any rubbing/kena makat issue with ur current setup/full load with 4ppl in car?I'm saving for a 5 spoke 17"rim + 205/45/17 on stock absorber&spring.I think 205/40 somehow too thin and 10%-20% more chances of damage for rim compared wit 205/45.That's Just for me la...Need ur input badly. biggrin.gif

waaa... badly need my reply?  blush.gif hahaha..

5 person : sangkut.
4 person : ok normal road, touch on bumpy road.
3 person : ok at all road.
My car always load 2persons only, so no issue.

205/45/17 on stock absorber&spring:
- quite nice looks since the gap quite small.
- for auto, will feel the car pickup to be a bit sluggish.
- rims cant last longer since the tyre thicker.
- maybe can change to sport spring.
205/40/17 on stock absorber&spring:
Info from shazmn:
- refer the prev attach pic from him, still looks ok.
- will save ur fuel consumption a bit.
- yups true, have to be careful on mud poles ~
*
Didn't quite understand what u mean by rim cant last longer since tyre thicker.Isn't if the tyre is thin the rim will take more hit?Isnt the other way?

blacken headlamp can DIY total cost less than RM10...do it carefully and neatly no problem dust etc...

if no skill or scared etc ask kedai price range from RM50-RM100...

new cps headlamp cost per pair cheapest i heard for a pair is 450 original proton...

so take your pick...with RM400 you could top up a lil bit for FPR or you could get a lightened pulley or a pair of cam pulley or a pro rallye plug cable paired with good spark plugs or a pipercross drop in air filter with large snorkel... tongue.gif
*
Eh rm10 can DIY?What glue u use? tongue.gif
