I took home a street cat that i have fed/pet for almost a year behind my kopitiam. She recently gave birth to 7 lovely kittens but made a mistake of putting them where they shouldn't belong and wouldn't survive. So I had to bring them all back since they were 3 days old (IINM). At first the mother was a bit defensive of her kittens but she learnt to trust me and let me touch her babies since the first time I brought them home. She even let me touch them when she was feeding them. Sadly, 1 kitty died on day 5, but the rest are surviving since she is a very good mother. Now is already the 10th day, and almost all of them has started to open their eyes. Hopefully all of them will survive and grow to become healthy active kittens, which I definitely have to give away someday. I've been scouring the net for advice on taking care of them. Luckily she is a very good mother, so I just need to concentrate on taking care of her.

I can't take care of all of them, gonna be a handful as they're all still small. How do you do it? I have to wait least 8-10 weeks before I can give them up (so i've read). I gotta kitten-proof their cat house and play area ASAP before they start to get naughty and poke around and get stuck. I've had to rescue kittens in my house's drain pipings and under the ceiling before.

it's orangy colour rather than red. 2 of them are of this colour, they have very fluffy fur and they grow the fastest! I can't quite tell them apart yet.
the one on the left-most is almost 90% black. I was worried about this particular one and the fully white one because they are the smallest and seem to grow slower than the rest. But they seem to be feeding well. I've lost a white kitten a few days earlier and now only left 1 white.

I still dunno the sex of my kittens. Haven't give names to them nor the mother too. Any ideas?

now the white kitten's both eyes are shut, stuck by glue-like pus. and another kitty has 1 eye shut too. damn... what should i do?

so sad that both of my ill kittens have died today. now only left 4 of them: 2 orange, 1 full black, 1 black + white
