Dear cat lovers, I recently bought a Persian-Siamese kitten age 3 month.
I just wondering if you could share with me the recommended vet clinic near Sungai Petani / Penang?

QUOTE(CutiePie69 @ Jan 15 2010, 09:17 AM) Dear Weiwei89, :-D Thanks. I do have that list from google too. I just thought maybe someone here can recommend me trust able (based on exp) clinic for my cat. I heard mixed stories about peng aun and gill's. So, appreciate if you could help me here. (note, not asking to compare these 2 but rather recommend me a good clinic among available)Here is how you cut the cats claws :- http://www.catscratching.com/htmls/article.htm As for behaviour training....... you can buy a scratching post so that she won't end up scratching your furniture. Other than that a cat does not need any training like dogs Added on January 15, 2010, 9:27 am Usually when pet owners go outstation or on holiday, they will usually send their pets for boarding or perhaps get a friend to help them look after their pets while they are away. Before sending your pets to a boarding home please, please do some research of the shop or the private boarding first as you need to ensure the safety and comfort of your pets. Please make sure that your pets will be in a clean and safe environment. Some people just want to make a quick buck and they will not care for our animals and your pets will end up stressed So choose wisely when you intend to send your cats for boarding! QUOTE(izzjml @ Jan 15 2010, 03:00 PM) Hey people, What I used to do with newborn kitten was after they were labored, I took them and put them in front of their mother so the mother can lick them (ear, nose, mouth). need help! what should i do??? my almost 2years old cat just gave birth for the 2nd time to one and only kitten again! the last time the kitten survive but this time the kitten didnt may i know what should i do cause now im thinking, what will happen to her milk if there is no kitten that will drink it? And since the kitten didn't survive, find a kitten (buy one) and let the mother take care of her/him. The new mother shouldn't be agile to the new kitten. (well this based on my exp long long time ago.) |

QUOTE(abang brother @ Jan 16 2010, 02:13 PM) I am furious now, i wanna make people realize that NOT ALL CATS ARE PERSIAN JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE LONG FUR. Am i right? But then, somebody said, "All long fur cats ARE persian". Then i give they this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cat_breeds . Then that certain someone said, " You think that you're a genius, but you aren't. f*** off. " Thanks for the link So, am i wrong? And why should i be insulted like this when i'm trying to educate people about cats? SIGH. Btw, I took the liberty to go to the link you gave and it seems my cat looks a lot like Birman instead of Siamese-Persian. |

Hello cat lovers,
This is actually my cat and just got her a week ago. The tauke claims that this is a persian-siamese breed. Just wondering what do you guys think. Is it really a mix of those or just a normal siamese? **Sorry for the low quality.** This post has been edited by nyunyu: Jan 16 2010, 10:52 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(jotaro12 @ Jan 17 2010, 12:39 PM) Based on the picture, it doesn't look siamese to me. Normal Siamese has the blue eye with a tall thin figure when standing so their hands and legs should be long. Fur wise is not fluffy at all. The spots are there though so the tauke might assume it's a siamese mix. To me the Siamese has the proud and cold look which distinguish the difference between other breeds. Since it's still at kitten age so I can't say 100% right. Just my non professional experience Yeah, it was because of this kitty I immediately took her back to my house. Paid RM500 for her. I know, expensive. Given the place I'm living right now (SP), its hard to get cat..weird, most shop sells cats for RM600 at least. P/S: Cute kitty actually. May I know how much you pay for it?? But, don't mind the price as my wife falls for this kitty already. Will see in a few month what will this kitty looks like. |

Hi cat lovers, just want to ask for some advise, is it normal for a cat to act in fury when mixed with other cat?
I just bought a persian yesterday, she was so cute and really nice, even in the car she stays calm like she's travel before. Then, arrived in my house, she kinda of temper seeing my other siamese-persian. My siamese-persian is really nice though as she did not get's angry or anything just want to make friends. Is this normal? ** I know about purebreed and certs etc, just that I'm more comfortable addressing my cat as one even though they were just DLH so please no DLH/cert/purebreed related comment. |

Seeing everyone here sharing photos of their kitties, here are mine
This is Cheekeez. She is 4 months old now. I took her from a pet shop in Sungai Petani. Unfortunately she got mites all over her and I realize that after I took her home. Immediately sent her to a vet and she got vaccination, dewormed and 1 extra shot for the mites problem. The mite shot was painful as she screamed with all she got back then, almost shed my tears. ![]() ![]() This is Oren. She is just 2 months old on the last 6th of February (shares the same birthday as mine ![]() These 2 seems to get along quite well apart from Oren who is always screaming at Cheekez when she sees her..lol..But they do get along when it is time to eat or sleep. ![]() ![]() Hope you guys liked them This post has been edited by nyunyu: Feb 8 2010, 11:36 PM |

Hi everyone, I would like to get a recommendation of cat boarding service near Sungai Petani or nearby (Penang?).
I will be back to Malaysia in a few days and would like to go for a vacation with my wife for a week, so is there a good place where I can send my cat for a week? A place with proper care? Thank you. |
