Hi guys, I'll be getting a cat from my cousin (she's a vet) this Saturday. From what my mum told me, the cat is mixed breed of Persian and local. That's all I know for now.
I am a first time owner and since pets need to taken care of carefully, I want to know as much as possible before getting the cat. I've been reading around but would like to hear some human's advices as well on what should I prepare before this coming Saturday.
Thanks!

Hey guys, I just got myself a couple of male Persians. About 2-3 years old There's something worrying me; they're not eating. I got the cat from my cousin which said the cat was from the boarding house. I'm not sure of the situation but the old owner wasn't taking care of them well so she's giving them to me. I know cats doesn't like changing their meal but in the situation I don't even know what the old owner has given them, what are my options? They barely eat anything since yesterday.

Hey guys, I have a question about my Persian. It kinda worries me. There's foam coming out of his mouth. Dripping quite a lot. I clean it off once and a few minutes later he's dripping again. The cat itself doesn't seem all that different from normal. He roams around as any other day. I have 2 persians actually and the other one is fine though.

QUOTE(CutiePie69 @ Jan 27 2011, 09:32 AM) Better bring him for a check up fast. Your cat might be suffering from gingivitis and that is why his saliva is coming out from his mouth. If its poison he could be dead by now. Well that worries me. I heard he could've bite something he shouldn't have and one of the suspect is frog/toad. I remember there was one in my wet kitchen area last night and the door was open when I went to see them earlier. The foaming has stopped and I've clean him and he doesn't seem to foam anymore. I just hope this is the case.
